Wonderful so far
I have geese constantly on large waterfront lawn. One scary bird and they left immediately. Took scary bird down for a tropical storm....geese came back. They watched me put scary back up. Walked to house, turned around and gonezo. Took scary in for hurricane for a couple of days and geese haven't returned. I am beginning to think they have permanently moved to a more comfortable spot. Scary stays up in up to 25-30 knots. Now it's been a month, scary shows no sign of wear. But you have to realize there is no way it's going to last forever but results are outstanding. A swivel at the tether attachment would be nice but our summer wind is consistently southwest so not a deal breaker. This thing works and am buying a second one for the gulls on my dock.I got the idea from seeing one flying from the top of a $75 million 170' superyacht in Nantucket. Since i figured it was good enough for them i ordered one immediately.Price wise, this was a mid point....I wouldn't go cheaper/chinese knockoff because the bird would undoubtedly be fragile
