Candle Making DIY Kit

Candles that I made with the kit were perfect! The smell was incredible, colors were vivid, and there was extra wax after I used all the tins! The instructions made it easy to use and were complete in terms of the exact temperature for the best performance of the candle. The included thermometer went up to nearly 500 degrees fahrenheit and was extremely accurate compared to my candy thermometer. 10/10 Performance. Incredibly fun!

This kit gives you everything you need to get started. The scents are fabulous. I wish the wax was soy instead of beeswax but you work with what you got. And also I wish that they could have added two more tins so that each bag made 3 each. You know just to keep things even. The melting pot is a lot smaller than expected but like I said great for beginners because the larger pots can got for $15 or more. The wax colors look great. I am glad that they came two to a pack. I do know that the more color you use the deep or richer the color will be so having some left over will be a bonus if you don’t want a bright pink candle. The digital thermometer comes with a (watch style)battery which is a plus. I have already remelted on candle in my house so I can tell you that the stick pads hold the wicks in place when used with wick stick holder. Last but not least glad they came with warning labels. I think these are very important. But remember if you get into candle making Amazon does sell warning labels so you don’t have to do extra work and print your own.

Cute little candle kit. All is great except instructions were not super clear it says measure wax in oz but provided cup is marked in mls and 2 of the scents had leaked out and the bottles were empty in the box.

I purchased this for my daughter for her birthday & she absolutely LOVED this kit! Personally, as someone who makes candles, I do wish the product had an assortment of wicks, but I fully understand why it doesn't. That may be a little too advanced for this kit. However, with my small critique added, I will tell you that she loved creating candles, didn't realize it was so easy and is now creating candles on her own! She actually took HER money and brought more wax before additional wax I purchased for her came! I asked her to wait for me so we could make these together, but she was so excited that she made them all in one shot! LOL! She was so happy to show me and I was so happy to tell her how beautiful each of her creations were. Note: I would suggest you also buy inserts, like some flowers, herbs & such, for the person you are giving this to so they can add those to the candle and make wonderfully unique creations with it! This is just a great little kit!

The colored dye cubes provided are little more than shaped colored wax cubes. May as well cut a chunk off a colored candle and stir it in. The essential oils are weak and one would need an entire bottle most likely. The melting pot is very helpful, the digital thermometer is easy to use. Beeswax is good quality. All in all this is truly a beginners kit as anyone experienced will be slightly disappointed in the quality.

I bought this kit to explore a new hobby and was delighted by the supplies, especially the range of color and scent choices. The thermometer and small melting/pouring pot are good quality and the kit comes with extra wicks and sticking pads. My first batch came out great! I would recommend placing the melting pot in a pan of water to melt wax. Also, I will go heavier with the dye blocks and add more scent than recommended with my next batch. This would make a fantastic gift for teenagers and adults!

I made my first candle ever. Even made a label, just for fun. Smells great. Fun and easy. Not sure about the criticism of the scents. Mine turned out great. Made one Ocean candle and just made another Sandalwood. That smells great too. All you need to learn candle making to start a business or just have fun is right here.

My husband was so excited to receive this but found it a bit disappointing. The scents are not the best variety nor the best quality. The instructions are very vague so my husband spent hours on YouTube watching videos on how to actually get a good candle. Positives are that if you purchase this, you have the equipment. It provides you a number of items to help you get started and good wicks that work really well. I suppose for the price, the equipment makes it a good purchase. You will just want to be prepared to buy your own scents and find instructions elsewhere, without depending on the booklet that comes with this kit.
