This thing is AWESOME! I am so happy this product exists!! I just converted my bike to an e-bike and there was no good way to attach the battery to the frame. It was too big for the water bottle holder area and I really didn’t want to drill holes into the bike frame. Especially with the extra weight the motor and battery added, I didn’t want to compromise the structural integrity of the bike. I ended up using electrical tape and a bunch of zip ties which didn’t look very good and didn’t hold well, the battery would keep slipping off-center. It also meant I wasn’t able to take the battery off to charge it or take it with me to prevent theft since the battery lock was obsolete (if someone wanted to steal my battery, all they had to do was cut through the tape and zip ties). I am so glad I found this product in my research, I was worried the holes wouldnt line up with the mounting plate of my battery since I didn’t order it through the same company, but it was perfect! The hold is super secure with the hose clamps and the battery feels very sturdy on it. My battery is pretty big and heavy and it attaches to the Bob with 3 small screws so hopefully it will hold up while bumping along the road. I feel much better now too that the hose clamps are much harder to get through than the zip ties and electrical tape if someone wanted to steal it, but now I have the option to take the whole battery with me if I’m that worried about it. I am soooo happy with this purchase and thankful this product exists!

After I mounted 48v 25ah battery on my bottle mounts I realized it was too heavy and too wobbly. This is just what I needed for a nice sturdy mount without worrying about my bottle mounts being ripped out. Works and fits perfectly.

I’m not sure why you’re even reading a review. This thing is amazing. You need it in your life. I’ve been a bicycle mechanic for more than 25 years. I’ve been messing around with electric bikes for around five years now. This is by far the absolute best addition to any electric bike that uses a water bottle style bolt on frame out. Or if your frame has no water bottle style mounts. I am using this on a surly karate monkey with a 52 V 17.5 hour shark pack. Mounting this to the bike with just the mount it came with is not secure it wobbles and is not in steel high confidence. The bike I’m using it on actually has three water bottle bolt mounting holes, so I was actually able to mount this using all three bolts and did not have to utilize the band clamps. However, if you need them, they are there and will make the install insanely secure. Or the really nice part. If you don’t have suitable mounting locations, these band clamps will offer you an ultra secure mount for your electric bike battery pack. Seriously why are you still reading? The Triple Bob is a versatile battery mount. It's not the most elegant looking solution (when used with the hose clamps) but it does work very well. To be fair, there aren't very many solutions available to begin with. This allows you to use your existing water bottle mounts or to use the hose clamps to mount an ebike battery to different sections of your bike tubes/frame that you may not have been able to secure a battery to prior. On a bike frame where you have limited space for 1 battery or a 2nd battery, the triple bob gives you a few more options to mount the battery to the frame. As countless others have mentioned, the fit is great, it is secure. This mount sometimes is your only and best option

On my bike, I could not attach the battery to the water bottle mounts. If you are putting shark battery on a home conversion ebike, go ahead and order the Double or Tripple Bob. You will be glad you did! Very easy and secure mount.

I had my heavy ebike battery originally attached to downtube with just the two water mount brackets which worked okay but seemed kinda flimsy. This mount is a lot sturdier. Easy to install and there are helpfull videos on YouTube.

It makes the Hailong-based batteries sit very tightly on the frame and allows you to adjust the vertical position, whereas previously due to the low position of the bottle screws you'd be forced to install the battery up-side down and it wouldn't sit very snug either. The kit comes with everything you'd need when encountering different scenarios, and the materials are top notch.

Bicycle load holder

I was very skeptical that this product would be sufficient to hold the battery in place without it shifting to the left, right or braking off entirely. I used to use metal hose clamps all the way around the top bar of the bike, having the battery dangle under it which held things in place very firmly. This product, I would say, works just as well (I'm using both the screw mount AND the hose clamps with rubber cover) and looks 10x better. Would recommend.
