Playmobil Cruise Ship

As an avid cruiser, I was thrilled to see the Playmobil Cruise Ship released! Wow, just wow. At first, it was intended as a gift for two girls that are new to cruising this December, but I couldn't wait to give it as a gift! We added a note that we were also going on the same cruise with them! It has been fun to watch the 7 and 9 year old's play and imagine their dream vacation that is about to happen! I came back today to order a couple extra sets that will work with it - beach, boat, stage and ships officers. I will give them to them for Christmas! The detail on this set is awesome and as always, it's the amazing quality that you expect from Playmobil! No, your ship doesn't float, but it has everything else your vacation needs! Use your other Playmobil figures or other small figures and they too can have a vacation! Finally, a cruise ship that isn't pink! I have searched and searched for cruise ship playsets and this was absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a WOW gift or you are surprising your children with a cruise this year, I couldn't recommend this anymore than I do! SOLID 5 STARS! The play value has been incredible and the quality is second to none! Thanks Playmobil! This is a fantastic set! I just wanted to add that the Playmobil cruise ship in the pictures below was assembled entirely by a 6 year old without any help at all.

Our 4 yr old has been asking for a cruise ship for months and there is no realistic and good quality cruise ship available. So I got this play set. This one is for a 6 yr old and although he loves it, I see why the recommended age is 6+. You need better motor skills to assemble this. While it was fun to assemble this almost 2' wide and 1' tall ship, it took around 1 hr +/- 15 mins to fully assemble it with the help of the kid of course. I was hesitant to buy this because it's expensive, but after seeing the quality and detail, I think it's priced well. The details are incredible! Like it has two toilets with seats that open , sinks with vanity and faucets! These things won't be utilized by my kid but maybe an older kid might find it more useful. As a 4 yr old he is more interested in the slide radar, phone and binoculars and of course the Life boat (but I have to help him disengage it). Wish they had an option for just a smaller less elaborate version of this (like the school bus ice cream truck etc) that company makes.

This ship is great. My grandson went on a cruise and then got this for Christmas the same year. He has had lots of fun with it. He was 5 when he got it but I know a couple of young middle schoolers that didn't mind joining in for a while when he played with it. Not a mess to put together, a normal amount of small accessories for the little people on the ship, nicely arranged, nice furniture, etc. and good for boys or girls. My grandson likes to put some of his pirate toys and bath toys with it sometimes, too...so it can be versatile. The only thing I could complain about is that it takes space to store but it's not as bad as I expected and it is fairly easy to keep all the parts/accessories together compared to some toys I've seen. We are big fans of this toy!

On the heals of helping my daughter put together a Playmobil hospital, this was a welcome change. Playmobil really nailed the cruise ship experience, wine glasses (with wine no less), pool side bar and all. It is obvious the Playmobil engineers really enjoyed taking a break from the school house, hospital, and zoo genres to create this floating palace. My daughter even commented that maybe this was an adults only cruise. Thanks Playmobil, and we hope you enjoyed the research involved in this wonderful (and quite large) creation.

Best toy EVER! So detailed! So much easier to put together than other Playmobil toys that we’ve assembled! My daughter was thrilled to get this as a gift from us for Christmas and has been playing with it ever since!

The kid loves it. Santa brought it but it came in ONE MILLION pieces. There were several bags, not easy to follow like legos, example: sink in one bag and tiny little faucet in another, don't know which bag until you open them all and figure it out. It took a long time, would have been a little easier if the kid wasn't trying to play while dad was setting it up. It would have been awesome if it came assembled but at least they could have detailed the instruction with everything in bags according to order of assembling it.

Arrived on time and in good condition. Construction was easy enough. My grandson loves this item. It's got a gangway for exit and entry, multiple levels and cabins, both with bathrooms. Aft is a boat that raises and lowers and a waterslide to bounce right into the pool! Provides a lot of fun!

The kids have fun with it. The quality of the item is very good. Hours of potential playtime ahead. Well worth the money paid in entertainment.
