2011 silverado 6 speed trans - does it come with directions for install as the part # does not cross reference to GM site, yet amazon says direct fit

I have a 2008 GMC Yukon Denali and this is the part that is recommended. However, after reading the reviews of them falling off and noticing that the metal levers all look the exact same, I went with Dorman 14073, and it fit perfectly. The old bushing needs to be completely removed from the cable ring. And this version is much easier to put on, and comes with a metal retaining clip, which keeps it from falling off. Just sharing my experience.

Will this fit a 2012 tahoe lt?

Not sure if it will I purchased it for a 2010 Yukon. Ended up using zip ties due to it falling apart after a year

Any one had any issues where this thing keeps coming off after about a month
