Excellent internal SSD for PS5. Was easy to install, following the video guide from Sony on YouTube. Got a read speed of 6538 MB/s during formatting on the PS5. Worth noting, however, that PS5s have some caps on read and write speeds so in practice you’ll not get 6.5GB/s when copying data from the PS5 storage to the SSD; you’ll likely get around 1.4GB/s, but this is sufficiently fast from experience. Additionally, the storage size of 1 TB is great. I currently have around 25 games across both the PS5 storage and the Firecuda with around 500Gb of remaining storage. Games load just as fast from the SSD and it doesn’t have any heating problems. Altogether, it’s a great SSD which doesn’t overheat and offers additional storage for the PS5 that will be fine for most people.

Bought to upgrade PS5 and wanted to use something I knew would work and be reliable. Can't get much better than this and at the price it was a no brainer. Installation into the PS5 was done in minutes and when booting up the console it recognised it straight away and formatted it with ease. Highly recommend it.....and it looks great as well (not that you can see it tucked away)

Excellent ssd for ps5, fast read and write speed, easy installation, highly recommended, the star wars edition is a nice touch and a few stickers included in the box. Who doesn't like a sticker

I did the usual trawling of written and video reviews and came back with this choice. It is for a playstation 5 and was very easy to fir and set up. The figures were better than some others but for now a 1tb suits all needs and gives me more than i need for current and future game storage. So far so good and I'm thinking of buying another one for the grandsons digital ps5.

Received it and come as advertised superfast I purchased 1TB tbh could have went for bigger storage but it’s enough for game to be stored depending on the file size but overall I love the design of it and packaging it come with it’s worth the money I paid for considering its speed fitment was easy and storage capacity I know seagate SSD are quite good brand I have 2TB USB hard drive plugged on my PS4 console as external storage drive it’s works smoothly and amazing I would recommend this brand of course it’s going cost a bit dosh but I rather choose brand which I know

Managed to get just under 6,500MB/s when installed in the PS5 and let it run its own internal test. The heatsink seems good quality, no heat issues. Paid £109 at the end of last year (2022), I've not had any issues with it since - would have gotten the higher TB version but the prices are still too high.

I bought the Star Wars themed version as it was cheaper at the time than the standard, it a solid built ssd, comes with stickers and a postcard, see my pics, install was easy, just slide of the ps5 cover, unscrew the ssd cover, unscrew the spacer and slot in the ssd, put it back together, switch on the ps5 and it formats for you, simple

I installed this into my PS5 and it worked without any issue. Installation is very easy also

Bonjour, touché aux alentours des 120€, facile à installer et "joli". Des débits hallucinant .... Attention toutefois, la vis de fixation sur l'entretoise n'est pas fournie, il faut la récupérer dans la boîte de la carte mère.

Esta es la segunda unidad que compro para mejorar el almacenamiento de la PS5, en este caso para la de mi sobrino, ya que yo llevo un año con el mismo y no he tenido problemas. Es rápido, se instala muy fácil y aunque he jugado durante varias horas sin descanso, aguanta bien sin ningún tipo de error por el sistema. Muy recomendable

Diese SSD Firecuda im Beskar Design sieht sehr schick aus. Doch nicht nur das Design der SSD PCIe Gen4 Karte kann überzeugen, sondern auch die Leistung! Bei mir steckt das Teil in einer PS5 Konsole. Der Einbau ist denkbar einfach und die SSD Karte wird sofort von der Konsole erkannt. Endlich wieder ausreichend performanter Speicherplatz auf der PS5 (sind wir ehrlich, die Standard 500 GB der PS5 reichen ja kaum aus). Die Performancewerte der Firecuda sind sowieso top! Ich habe God of War Ragnarök installieren lassen und das ging blitzschnell (ein paar Minuten). Dank des eingebauten Heatsinks (Kühlkörper) wird die SSD Karte auch nie zu heiß (was sehr wichtig bei der PS5 Konsole ist!). On top werden noch 3 Stickers mitgeliefert (braucht man aber nicht), eine schöne Verpackung sowie ein 3 Jahres Data Recovery Gutschein. Fazit: Klare Kaufempfehlung wenn man Star Wars Mandalorian Fan ist und wert auf höchste Lese- und Schreibraten legt. Natürlich kann die SSD Karte auch in einem (Gaming-) Rechner betrieben werden :P
