Can this be connected to a receiver and played through my (much larger) speakers?

I would like to use the voice improving/tune correcting to sing unaccompanied the hymns in my old, old Methodist Church hymnal. Could this do that?

You need a separate music input to provide the correct key and pitch for voice correction. Otherwise all you can get is a little reverb effect. Even if you have a recording of the hymnal music (piano, organ or whatever) the corrected voice rarely sounds normal when the enhanced (highest correction) mode is selected. This device is more of a party device for fun and entertainment.

Is the power suppy dual voltage (110/220) ?

Yes, it can handle both voltages.

So, you need a seperate system to get the songs? which is better to use - ipad? or can i use a tablet?

Can use iPad, iPhone, tablet or can hook to to TV. You tube offers karaoke but I use Karafun which is a monthly subscription but worth it IMHO -as they have practically any song you can think of!

Over all this is a great system. BUT the speaker blew after after a few times using it never went over past the recommended volume. Now I’m shopping for a new speaker. I don’t think I have any warranty left as it’s only 4 months old ( for me).
