got this beret to wear with my kilt for Scottish festivals/games. i really like the beret, but it needed some work to fit my head. for those who wanna wear it military style, plenty of "how to wear a beret" videos out there. note, i wear a 7 5/8 fitted hat. so i ordered 7 3/4, but it was too big so i returned it. got a 7 1/2 and it fit. there is a small bit of play which can be adjusted by the draw string.

A fun hat for summer celebrating some of my heritage. Wool well constructed by known hat company. It can be worn in a variety of styles straight or tilts or even far tilted for a different bohemian looks. Fun addition to accessories.

This is an inexpensive beret. If you're expecting jaw-dropping quality then go steal one off a Green Beret (doing this is not recommended). It does what you need it to, but stops there. The maroon fabric is darker than pictured, and isn't supported enough to hold the normal beret shape. The size was also too large for me - it fit, but it was awkward, and I felt like a total dork wearing it. The tassels also infuriated me. Be aware, this is indeed a military style beret, and works if you need it for something simple like a costume party or some roleplay. If you want an actual, professional beret, look somewhere else. Would buy again if I needed a beret, and would get the Red one. This one is too dark.
