Govee Dual Smart Plug 4 Pack, 15A WiFi Bluetooth Outlet, 2-in-1 Design

I've tried nearly a dozen different affordable smart outlet options. Govee smart plugs are very quickly becoming my favorite. I do tend to prefer their single smart plugs though. While I do love the single smart plugs, I also really love these dual smart plugs since I live in an older house and some rooms don't have many outlets. The dual smart plug acts as a splitter and lets me independently control whatever I plug in. It's incredibly handy and doubles my outlet space in rooms where I'm lucky to have a single outlet normally. Before I got the Govee single smart plugs I was using these on small extension cords in my tropical plant cabinets. They're really nice because they don't overlap other outlets even on small power strips. They are wide though, so it would depend on the orientation of the plugs in your power strip. The Govee outlets are some of the easiest smart plugs I've ever set up. I've not come across issues where they don't pair or aren't detectable like I have with other brands. They also seem to reconnect themselves pretty well when my power goes out or if I unplug them. I haven't had to re-pair them or reset them. They work really well with my Amazon Alexa devices AND with the Apple Home features. I previously used these specific outlets to automatically control fans and grow lights in my tropical plant cabinets. These plants are really sensitive to changes so having consistent light, heat, humidity, and general conditions are really important. I use a modified Ikea cabinet and I use these Govee outlets with my Amazon Alexa routines to control nearly everything. This also gives me the ability to turn them on or off as needed by just asking Alexa. I'm not sure if these outlets are meant for humid environments though. I worked around that by placing a piece of tape over the side buttons and over any unused portion of the outlet. Specifically the ground hole of the plug used for my fans. I haven't had any issues with humidity while doing this. I will also add that because I hide the cables and plugs in my cabinet I'm never using them manually. The tape may mess with the buttons if you're using them manually on a regular basis. I also really like Govee in general because they provide affordable options for smart devices. I've had really positive experiences with their Wifi Smart Bulbs, Single Smart Plug, LED light strips, and Flow Plus LED Light Bars. Because of this I'm also considering replacing my current humidifiers and thermometer/hygrometers with the Govee options! The Govee app in general has been incredibly reliable and easy to navigate. It's super simple to connect to other apps and I'm generally a huge fan.

I bought these in October 2022, and they’ve been in essentially continuous service for almost four years. They’ve also remained reliably connected, which hasn’t always been my experience with other smart-home products. I primarily use the dual plugs with the lighting on my covered patio, where outlet space is limited and I have a mixture of permanent and seasonal lighting. The big advantage is that the two outlets can be controlled independently. I can leave my permanent lighting connected to one and use the other for Christmas or other seasonal lights without having to constantly rearrange my smart-home setup. That’s particularly convenient with Alexa because I can give the outlets names that make sense and leave that setup in place. When the seasonal decorations come out, I plug them back into the same outlet and the control I want is already there. I can control the individual outlets, the two outlets together, or if they are part of an even larger group then I can control them there too all depending on what I’m doing. That may not seem that important, but during the holidays I find it very much is useful. I did have to reset these once because of unrelated changes to my network, and setting them up again was straightforward. I also own Govee’s individual smart plugs and quite a few of their smart bulbs, along with LIFX and other smart-home products. Govee has been one of the most reliable brands I’ve used. After almost four years, these dual plugs are still connected and doing exactly what I bought them to do.

Had a pinch of trouble figuring out how to set them up. However it was entirely on me. The first one I went to set up was for a floor lamp when I unpluged it the lamp light switch went bad, i mistakeningly thought it was the new smart plug but it wasnt. Its great having my main rooms controled by my phone app. With this addition i can now control most all my house lights and it completes much of my household automation.

Works very good! I already had the Govee app because of my LED light strip for my room so to me, connectivity was easy. The durability is so far so good for me, it’s my second day of using it, but Govee has been good to me for years so it should be good 😂 Instructions are very clear on the paper, very easy to set up! The remote control on my app is very useful, I have a leopard gecko so I got this item to set a timer for my lights to cut on and off automatically. I did have to turn off the 24 hour clock though because it wouldn’t let me set a.m. or p.m. which was stressful at first but I just had to turn it off in my settings, other than that I love it! And to make sure it actually cut off at the right time, I went to my room to see if it actually worked and it did. Govee hasn’t let me down yet lol. I recommend this product, especially if you have any animals/reptiles that need a 12 hour light cycle!

Great quality and great product. It was easy to set up. The quality of the product was more than expected. I like how we could turn the light on and off per plug even though it's a dual plug. Highly recommend!!!

I’ve been using these smart plugs to control my grow lights and fans, and they’ve worked great. The scheduling feature is reliable, making it easy to automate my setup without having to manually turn everything on and off each day. Setup was quick, and the Wi-Fi connection has remained stable. I also like having two independently controlled outlets on each plug as it clears space and outlets.

The plugs are easy to set up and work perfectly with the Govee app.

This is an awesome product. We've been using Wemo for years, but lately could not get them set up. This Govee took less than 5 minutes, and was so easy. We have leak monitors, outdoor party lights, and nowhere plugs - all accessible from the same app.

Arrived on time and works as described.

I do love these smart plugs, but the outlets are too close together. You can't use bulky plugs if you want to use both outlets.
