After vowing to start drinking less alcohol, I redid the top of my bar cart to feature just mocktails and alcohol replacements to make me think twice before reaching for a bottle of wine.I recently added the Leilo kava drinks to the cart and so far, I’m impressed! I’ve never previously used kava, so I was a bit skeptical of the effects and the taste since I heard it was quite awful in traditional preparations.I’ve had two of the flavors so far and they taste great! I don’t get any funky or medicinal flavors, maybe the slightest hint of earthiness, but nothing unpleasant at all! Very fruity and light on the palette without being too sugary or syrupy.As for the relaxation and “buzz”, I feel it is felt more on an empty stomach. After reaching the bottom of a can I do notice my thoughts are no longer racing and my muscles are less tight. I feel much more calm. As for the “buzz” factor, I’ve only tried drinking one can at a time as there is a warning on the back to not consume more than one serving a day. The buzz from 1 can is kind of similar to alcohol, but not nearly as strong.Overall, I enjoy the product and feel like it is helping me drink less alcohol by replacing the nightly cocktail with a great tasting, sparkling drink that relaxes without the hangover. The product is priced higher than alcoholic alternatives when doing a can to can comparison to hard seltzers and many ready to drink cocktails, but the money is well spent if it means I’m making a healthier choice and reducing my alcohol intake.

These products are MONEY for reducing stress levels. I’m doing a fitness overhaul and cutting alcohol. I got these to calm me down at the end of a work day and they work. I came home pissed yesterday, grabbed one of these, and within 20 minutes I was completely content. The lemon is my favorite but they all taste great. Def buying more even though they are expensive!

Really disappointed in these. They did nothing for me at all. I’ve been sober now for 3 months and wanted to see if these would substitute for when I go out with friends or even for a relaxing evening. Unfortunately, they just taste good with no effects at all.

I really like it, but the price is way too high. but I do like it, calming.at least for me.

These are absolutely fantastic. Since trying them at a local store, I have been using these every morning before work. With the vitamins and kava, it sort of gives me energy with a nice sense of well being. Sort of gets me ready for the “battle ahead” (work with special needs students - love em but this certainly helps with staying positive and patient). Leilo- great job with this!! You really created an amazing product

I was so severely hoping this would be a hit. The thing is, I have tried the Kava root powder, and have done the whole 'traditional' mixing, and the effect off of that is intense. The downside is that is so awful tasting, I just don't want to try it again.I was hoping that this could come even close to that level of effect. I was severely let down. Even though I can taste the kava, the drink itself is still extremely tasty. However, even after 3 drinks inside 1 hour, I got nothing out of it.I'm still searching for alternatives.

I can easily get Kava drops from the store, but they taste disgusting in almost everything I put them in -- just super, super bitter. I was hoping that these Leilo drinks had figured out how to balance out the taste. But they didn't. Not even the 50 calories of sugar they add could mask the bitterness. I found it funny that each drink has a "flavor" (like blackberry orange) because I can't really taste that at all (more akin to "tasting notes" in a coffee bean or dark chocolate). All I taste is bitter.On top of that, the Kava effect doesn't feel noticeable to me (similar with the drops I've tried from Sprouts). The only Kava where I actually notice a relaxing, pleasant effect is the Kava tea from Yogi (sometimes I do 2 packets in one night).Disappointed and won't be drinking the majority of these cans. No wonder I couldn't find it anywhere in a single can option.

Love this. Wish I could make my Kava taste this good
