Wow really enjoyed this, the art and comedy
Loved this, was really happy I decided to give this a shot. The story while being wildly unbelievable, is done in a way where it knows its crazy and leans into it instead of shying away. So the art and the comedy and the story end up being great. Can't wait to read more.

Fun Manga
The media could not be loaded. Update: I just learned Netflix has a show with the same title and characters. This always makes reading more fun for my kids. I’m excited to see if it follows the book accurately.I bought Sakamoto Days for my 10-year-old son, who loves manga, and he really enjoyed it! The story is engaging, and the characters and art are a lot of fun. What to Know:• While I felt it was age-appropriate for my son, there are some action-packed scenes that might not be suitable for younger children who are more sensitive.• The humor and creative storytelling make it an enjoyable read for preteens and older kids who like quirky and adventurous manga.Overall, it’s a great addition to his manga collection, and I’d recommend it for kids who are ready for a bit of action and a lot of laughs.

Kung fu hustle style!
I enjoy the first book that I went to buy all the books in this series! I know my son will like it too. There are so many different characters in this book that I really like. It’s funny and worth reading also. A little bloody but no kill. First rule in Sakamoto’s House. If you like Kung fu Hustle then you will like this book.

MANGA PEAKKKK
It’s good the manga is so peak, and underrated. Also, it was delivered with care.

Way of the house husband lite
I read the first few chapters on the shonen jump app and thought it was really funny and an interesting story. After reading the whole volume it’s not as funny as I thought it was. It took the direction of “one punch man” where the gimmick gets old pretty quick (in this case, sakamoto being a former assassin who is fat and has a day job but still has skills).Overall it was a fun story and a good read but I much prefer and recommend “way of the househusband” for constant “middle aged assassin” comedy.

Best. Manga. Ever
Did you ever wonder what would happen if John Wick got married, had a kid, gained like 60lbs, and opened a small convenience store to support his family? Well, your dreams have come true! Meet Mr. Taro Sakamoto! This is already one of my favorite manga of all time. It has everything! Amazing characters, clean artwork with great action sequences, wholesome slice of life moments, and it's absolutely hilarious (Chapter 16 is one of the funniest manga chapters I've ever read. I was in tears and damn near fell off the couch). At this point I'm just grabbing every volume as they release for my collection and am just reading digitally through the Shonen Jump app since there's no way I could wait to get more from this story and am fully caught up (80 chapters as of writing this) and just reading weekly as a new chapter releases. It gets better and better as it goes along. So yeah, don't hesitate to pick this one up.

Sakamoto Days, Vol. 1 (My Kindle Review)
Sakamoto was once a legendary hitman who was revered and feared, but one day he suddenly gave it all up when he fell in love, got married and is now running a convenience store with his wife and young daughter. He gets a surprise visit from a clairvoyant from his past who warns him that a price has been put on his head. With a new acquaintance by his side and his old skills intact, he will find himself in violent situations while making sure he keeps his family safe.An exhilarating and fast paced assassin manga that perfectly balances thrills and humor in its interesting “what if” take. There’s definitely some similar elements that reminded me of “Spy X Family” and “Assassination Classroom”. The story, characters and endless action keeps Sakamoto’s story a very exciting pick to read. A (100%/Outstanding)
