Archers that had a very fast pace slowed down. Whereas, archers that had a slow pace sped up. Either way, the archer’s anxiety is lower when they know exactly how much time is left during their end. Tips for using the GymNext Flex Timers for NASP: Flex Timers: Use multiple (synchronized) Gym Edition timers, located above the arrow curtain, evenly spaced. Whether the archer is left or right-handed, in the 1st or last lane assignment, the height of the 4-inch digits allows all archers, coaches and spectators to easily see the shot clocks from anywhere in a school gym. Wall Mounts: Mount the Flex Timers with a TV / monitor wall mount that allows you to tilt and pan the Flex Timer towards the 10 and 15 meter shooting lines. Consider adding a cage with shield to protect the timers. Consider physically disconnecting the buzzer to ensure it will never emit any sound during practices and tournaments. I use the GymNext timer in a novel way: outdoors, powered by a 12V battery. It performed fantastically. It was the critical element of a 7 hour run/walk, and if it had failed my event would have had to be abandoned. It worked beautifully, and with a little home-made sun-shield it was easy to see even on a sunny day. The best part about this product is the company behind it and the customer support. I had previously ordered a cheaper one sold by a company in China, that didn't do what its marketing promised it would do. The flexibility and control of this device, along with the amazing service makes me wholeheartedly endorse the product and the company behind it. Build quality, display quality, sound quality -- all excellent. The app is intuitive and flexible enough for pretty much any scenario.

Ordered this 3 separate times, and each time it was broken. The first time an LED was out. The second time it just didn't work - I assume the power supply was dead. The third time a different LED was out. I don't understand how a $300 product can be of such low quality.

It’s big and visible. Very bright. I like that I no longer need a remote to program it. A few minor complaints though. The app is buggy sometimes. Ex. Voice sound is not synchronized to the timer by a few seconds. Sometimes, sound does not come through speaker at all even though it is connected. Last, I was hoping that the voice would still work even if my phone’s screen was off to save battery. Turns out, the phone must always be on otherwise no voice. Another issue with the clock itself: the 3rd number from the left glitched and only the left most segments would turn on. Only a reset would fix it. This issue was rare and didn’t really affect my workout. It also arrived with some scuffs at the side frame. The glass seemed flawless, however. I was quite surprised to see that the volume of the buzzer can be changed. I found the default to be too loud so I lowered it to minimum and it’s perfect. Would still recommend to anyone. Worth the price.

We bought the gym edition and the home edition in order to share them in our box for spill over classes or competitions. We had a competition this weekend and couldn't use either one of them. They are super buggy. The work fine for a while and then they lock up -- keep running or won't let us turn off or reset or anything. It took us approximately 10 minutes one day to get them back working. With a box full of people (100+), we didn't have the luxury of taking the chance it wouldn't work. We troubleshooted for a month. We contacted gymnext at least 4 times to no avail. We do enjoy them while they are working, but too buggy at this time for business. Our classes need to run on time and if the clock locks up, etc. during a class, for Crossfit, the time is important. With this, if we can't get some sort of assistance, we will have to return for a full refund.

Come già descritto da altri acquirenti, il timer smette di funzionare dopo circa 4 mesi. Disconnessioni continue fino al punto di non collegarsi del tutto. Quando, e sottolineo quando, crea situazioni imbarazzanti in palestra, a volte urla "3, 2, 1, finito!!!" a metà workout, mentre il display segna 12:30 rimanenti. Altre volte ci sono due timer contemporaneamente, ognuno con i propri tempi e segnali acustici assolutamente casuali. Terribile e inaccettabile.

El aparato como tal funciona bien, la app es decentemente amigable sin embargo el cable de adaptador de corriente ea extremadamente corto para colgarlo en la pared se necesita una extensión lo cual no es tan conveniente, me hubiera gustado que trajera mejores soportes y hasta tornillos para montarlo en la pared no son tan caros y hubiera sido un buen detalle. Cumple con lo que promete

This is the second GymNext Flex Timer I've bought. They're not cheap, but I believe they pay for themselves in terms of time management; be it in the gym, in my local church's PA department, or with whatever activity you are undertaking, and 'timing' needs to be a key feature. With the multifunctional time aspects and features, all work well having the capacity for a number of users to have access to the features, all viewing the correct time, and all work really well.
