Cheap splitter, zero noticeable signal loss
I purchased this 8-way coaxial splitter from Amazon for about $20 bucks at the end of 2024. It arrived shortly in a non-descript box, no logo or anything, just text.I have a rooftop terrestrial antenna (aka old fishbone-style antenna). This does a great job splitting it 8 ways (only 6 of which I use). This was a replacement for an Archer 4-way splitter from Radio Shack back in the day.I like this splitter and intent to ground it (even though it is not an absolute necessity. Only negative is that I wish it was a little deeper, depending on your mounting situation, it can be tight due to it being flush up against a joist, other splitters tend to have a phalange to give a little extra space. At the end of the day I’m surprised the signal stayed strong and there hasn’t been any noticeable noise or degraded picture on any networks.

Great splitter
This is exactly what I needed. I slit my incoming coax with runs to 5 rooms and it works perfectly.

The sellers/manufacturers seem to take their customer service seriously, with two follow up e-mails after purchase. I asked a follow up question to one of those e-mails and was answered promptly, thank you.I wish this item shipped internationally. I had to go through a shipping forwarder to get it to Singapore.Such large splitters don't exist in Singapore. Furthermore, I wanted to upgrade it for my Actiontec Bonded Moca 2.0 thingamajig. So for those in Singapore, the Actiontec worked but I had trouble with FM radio signals when splitting it. However, the Actiontec worked without any problems on existing cabling (as of this date, about a 10-year-old wired house)This is the aforementioned Actiontec item I purchased Actiontec 802.11ac Wireless Network Extender with Gigabit Ethernet & Bonded MoCA (WCB6200Q02)I decided to switch the splitters at source. You can see the mess that Singapore contractors did in my box and the resultant change. Now, I can receive FM signals. And things look neater.I am now going to add the POE filter to the IN port of this splitter. Now to find a way to get it to Singapore...

VERY economical upgrade
Replacing an old splitter installed 8-10 years ago which read “4-1500MHz”, my new Xfinity cable boxes went from showing one read bar “low” signal to five green bars “good” signal. Not that this made virtually any difference in anything: 1080p, guides, etc, but the cable boxes all seem happy. Probably means they don’t have to work as hard to stream local DVR content around is my guess. Overall VERY economical upgrade with *obvious* technical gain. Used the BAMF 2-way splitter to branch off to a cable modem prior to this 6-way branch for TVs. Also installed 75ohm terminators in unused ports. Everything showing nothing but net at a technical level with these splitters and configuration.

Power Pass is ONE WAY ONLY...
I bought this (and several other sizes of this) because it says "all ports power pass". That's only partially true. I was trying to power 2 pre-amplified antennas using these as combiners, and not having good results, only to try another antenna with an LED for power on - and discover that this does not pass power in reverse. It appears to me that it is a quality product, and the one I'm using as a SPLITTER is great, my MoCA works fine and the channels I get from a single antenna come through the splitter fine as well. I just ended up spending extra money on antenna products because of this power-pass issue. Now I search for a splitter-combiner that is power pass all ports IN BOTH DIRECTIONS.
