Does "self-adhesive" mean that there is some sort of glue? Don't want to damage my car...

Here is a trick which used to work when applying vinyl signs to vans . Not sure it will work with these sticker types . Car wash shampoo mixed with water was applied to the area of the vehicle that the sticker is to be applied and then the sticker applied to the wet area . Apparently makes it easier to remove air bubbles when applying stickers and makes future removal easier and was said to reduce the risk of paint damage when removing stickers . Always do your own research into this technique to be sure it is compatible with modern eco paints .

I think the letters need to be 8cm tall to comply with the convention? These were only 6.7cm tall.

These are definitely 80mm high.

Is it installed on the inside of the rear window

It is usually mounted on the rear of the vehicle adjacent to, but not part of, the registration number plate. If it is mounted on the rear screen it is mounted on the outside as the adhesive is on the reverse of the sticker. Be careful not to obscure the rear wards view. Regards, lim
