I have the Lyman 17A on my 10 and 14 inch TC Contender barrels. Work great for IHMSA. Multiple inserts provides options for hunting. Rock solid repeatability for open sights.

Great inserts
I bought these for an 1896 Swedish Mauser target rifle a tiny bit to small but able to modify enough to fit. This old rifle takes hard to find non-standard parts so used to having to adapt and modify parts to fit.

Performed as expected.
I purchased two of these. One for my SMLE No1 Mark III and Ishapore A1A rifles. They fit between the front sight protectors well and replaced the factory front sight blade. I had to do some judicious filing on the Lyman sight dovetail to fit but I expected that. Now I can clearly see the target with my aging eyes.
