Be Careful! The first two collets I tried were fine, but then I tried the 4mm collet for a new end mill. I noticed that it did not snap into the collet nut like the other collets and the end mill would not slide past the upper end of the collet. When I started the spindle it was clearly out of true. Had I not noticed and just started the CNC program the city would have snapped flown out into the shop space! Very dangerous situation. I took it apart and got it to slid past what must of been a burr at the end of the collet but was not able to get it to snap into the collet nut. The others in the set, at least the ones I tried, all snap into the nut. The snapping feature must ensure concentricity when the nut is tightened. I played around with it until it ran true but it continues to be able to be tightened while not being concentric. I will find and individual replacement from another source.
