One of the first so called “mods” done to my Vette. Purchased a used Vette and you could see where previous people jacked up the car incorrectly and cracked the fiberglass. I installed these units so that anyone who looks under the vehicle knows exactly where the lift points are. Easy to install and comes with tool needed to tighten it up. My tip would be to assemble it somewhat on the bench so that the screws are flush with the edge of the block. The. You can install it in the slot and turn it 90 degrees before starting to tighten. Tip #2, if you have a battery powered ratchet, use it as the screws are a long and using the Allen wrench can get tiresome fast. They do not hang too much lower than the car so I haven’t had any issues with them scraping anything including the wide neighborhood speed bumps.

Fits on 05 c6 base. I usually lift by the subframe then throw jack stands underneath the pads. its stable in the air and ive shoulder checked it a few times, perfectly fine. When the car is on the ground you cant see them at all unless you press your head to the floor to look under
