Lekue Cheese Maker Kit with Recipe Book, White

Love it that I can make a soft cheese so fast. I haven't tried any of the flavored cheeses yet, but love the regular cows milk cheese. Stir it up to crumble and it's so good with scrambled eggs. So easy to make.

I bought this on a whim (spur of the moment), just to find out what homemade "cheese" would be like. I chose the recipe for the Balsamic Vinegar cheese, followed the instructions (with the exception of the heating cycle - my microwave brought the milk to temperature in 8 minutes, not 13), and the "cheese" was ready for the refrigerator in record time. I must say that you could make the same thing without this kit, but the kit does make it so much simpler, and it gives you the recipe book besides (some look really yummy.). I left the cheese (compressed milk curds, really) in the frig overnight and we had it as part of our dinner. My husband REALLY liked it, the kiddo thought it was interesting, and I found it highly palatable. I will have to experiment with the flavours and ingredients until I find one that really appeals to everyone. Maybe a dessert cheese..... ;-D

L'ho comprato per curiosità e mi è piaciuto subito. Io uso il latte intero a lunga conservazione, lo lascio in frigo prima. È facilissimo da fare è il risultato è ottimo in più ci si può sbizzarrire coi sapori. A me piace tanto con curcuma, zenzero e un po' di sale. Si può fare anche semplice e mescolarlo con la marmellata. L'ho consigliato, forse il prezzo è un po' alto però visti i risultati sono contenta di averlo preso.

und schmeckt sehr lecker! Produkt überzeugt durch sehr hochwertige Qualität. Ob man das ganze nicht ohne Hilfsmittel, nur mit einem Tuch durchführen könnte, stimmt wohl, aber so macht es auch Spass :-). Habe als erstes die Varante mit etwas Joghurt ausprobiert, gute Milchqualität (z.B. Demeter) ist für mich aus ethischen und auch aus Geschmacksgründen selbstverständlich. Sehr lecker, eine Mischung aus Frischkäse und Ricotta entsteht binnen knapp 2 Stunden und kann sogleich verspeist werden.
