Professional, high quality folio cover for remarkable2
This is a really professional-looking folio cover for my remarkable 2. It has a high quality look and feel, and costs much less than the cover sold by remarkable. I have not noticed any problems with the screen (some reviews reported issues with the magnet that holds the tablet in affecting the screen, but I have not noticed that). The remarkable 2 fits very securely and the cover is wide enough to offer a little protection for the pen as well. The cover stays closed as well. This item also came with extra nibs for the pen. Overall, I am glad I didn't spend the extra money on the remarkable brand folio, because this seems just as good!

Impressive design and value!
I am really impressed with the quality of this folio and how will it fits with my Remarkable 2. Normally with 3rd party products like this, you don't expect the fit to be perfect, but Ayotu has managed to do it with this one. The back and front covers are very solid and the texture of the canvas is perfect. Overall it feels sturdy and protects the Remarkable well. The Remarkable attaches with magnets, so it is effectively just like the factory folio but for a fraction of the price. Keep in mind that if you were to drop it, it would more than likely come out of the folio, but the factory folios that Remarkable sells have the same issue. The only improvement I would suggest is making one with a built-in pen loop for those that are not using a factory stylus with the built-in magnets. I solved this with an elastic pen holder that fits well and doesn't get in my way (see photo). If you are looking for an inexpensive but high-quality folio for your Remarkable, this is the one!

Solid Alternative to OEM Folio
It took 2 tries but the second time was the charm. The first one had a sample defect where the 2-sided tape they use to hold the magnetic spine in place had no stick to it (see photo); it was like that straight out of the packaging. I took away one star for that. The rest of this review is for the SECOND order. I started shopping for a replacement folio after the interior of the OEM (reMarkable) polymer weave folio started to pill in the hinge area (I was one of the people who got the folio for a huge discount as part of my pre-order that was delivered Nov. 2020). They wouldn't offer me a discount on the $150 replacement and I don't want to spend $150 every 2 years. At ~$40 this folio was worth a try; even if the same or worse happens every 2 years at least it's only a third of the price to replace. The case IS a bit/noticably heavier, but the cover also seems to be made of less flexible material, so that CON comes with a PRO. The exterior fabric seems VERY similar to the OEM version and has a medium coarseness that makes it easy to grip. The interior fabric is a finer material than the OEM version while still being soft to the touch - that should make it less likely to pill like the OEM folio did. The magnetic spine seems firmly attached and, while the magnets are a little weaker than the OEM, they hold the tablet in just fine. The contour of the spine that mates to the tablet is VERY close, but not QUITE perfectly matched to the tablet. Again, this doesn't interfere with its ability to secure the tablet to the folio - but does allow for very minor shifting. When closed the covers allow for the Marker Plus I have to magnetically secure to the tablet without interference. The cover has magnetic "grab" both when open and when closed, though it's stronger when open which I feel makes it easier to hold when reading since it prevents the front cover from sliding/shifting across the back cover. Overall, a great choice for the price - even if I end up needing to super glue the spine to the folio somewhere down the road.

Nice case
I'm updating my review. I have this case for a while now and it has held up very very well. And it's very nice how thin it is because when folded open you don't hardly notice it's there, except that it provides a very nice grip then no case at all. again, my only complaint is how the covers close together so tightly (which is good) but it's too hard to pry them apart. Probably not a big deal for those with longer finger nails. I wish they would add a tab to grab on to. And, I do wish there was a more secure pen holder. The pen can easily get knocked off and it's rather anxiety inducing when you can't find your pen because your device is now useless This is a nice case. Fits well. Sturdy and protective yet minimal in size. The cover folds back nicely when in use and doesn't interfere. yes, the pen sticks out and thus can get knocked off pretty easily, and sometimes the case can be a little too challenging to open because there isn't much lip to grab on to...but i feel like if the lip was big enough to protect the pen then that would be more annoying. for the price - it's great. ps...i love my remarkable

Nice case for your Remarkable2 - Good Texture/Magnetic Attachment
Not a typical reviewer. But passing along that the case is a good quality. The suede-like texture looks professional and has a good feeling when you are holding it. Some might not like there is that there is nothing to hold back your marker. Even though your marker attaches magnetically to your Remarkable, my puppy was able to snag it and that didn't end well. I resolved by going to Etsy and bought a Pencil Hugger from PencilHuggers (Size 10.2 - a nice lady from Texas, good work as well). I do see Atoyu has a model that will hold a pencil, but I would still choose this case as it is just the profile of the Remarkable. Also, love that your Remarkable attaches and removes from the case via the magnet in the Remarkable. No adding velcro or attaching something to the back of your device. With this case, if you ever decide to get another case or swap, it's as simple as pulling it off the magnets. Holds well when attached. If they ever decide to make it in Navy I'll buy another just to get the color! PS Atoyu is inventive with a tiny card. It has a smiley and sad face. Sad with contact info if you are..and happy with info on how to leave a review. Very inventive! Nicely done.

Magnet & the Divots for the Tablet Securely Holds the Device In Place
This is a really nice case. It's about double the price of other Remarkable 2 cases, but it's made very well and has a couple of features that the cheaper cases don't have. One of them is the long magnet that's located in the spine of the case that attaches to the magnet on the Remarkable 2 itself. I was surprised to see how well these magnets bind to each other, holding the Remarkable 2 securely in place inside the case. Another feature that assists the magnet in holding the Remarkable 2 securely inside the case, are the 4 divots located on the rear, inside of the case. These divots are made to accept the small rubber feet on the back of the Remarkable 2 which in addition to the magnet, helps to keep the tablet secure inside the case. The inside of the case is has a soft finish to help prevent the Remarkable 2 screen from being scratched. The outside of the case is textured. Really, the only thing missing from this case is a stylus/pen holder. However, I purchased one of these made for an Apple pen and attached it to this case and it's working out perfectly. IMO... this case is well worth the extra money. The cheaper cases do not have the magnet to hold the device in place. Most of them have an adhesive patch for this function. But eventually, the adhesive will likely dry up.

Arrived Damaged
The case was shipped in flimsy packaging and as a result, the corners of the case arrived damaged (ripped holes in corners). Kind of bums me out tbh. Also the brown color is more way more orange than advertised. Overall it’s a nice folio, but I think I’ll be returning due to the damage and color. I know the name brand folio is expensive, but I guess that’s what I should’ve done in the first place.
