A saving grace for my boyfriend's skin
Got this as a gift for my boyfriend. He has sensitive skin and was having a hard time with dry, irritated skin after shaving. We noticed a difference immediately. His skin is hydrated and he gets a great close shave! There's less snagging, razor burn, and ingrown hairs. The smell is nice. A light clean and herbal scent. This product is perfect for men with sensitive skin or hair that is curly and prone to ingrown hairs and bumps.

So far, so good!
I'm rating this 4 stars as of less than 24 hours post-shave. I've tried traditional razors, electric shavers, and recently a combination of dual and single blade razors. I'm actually embarrassed to say how long I've STRUGGLED with ingrowns and bumps but I'm the guy that has had to plan out shave days and hat days for this reason. Not only that but shaving has taken so much time and even if the immediate results are smooth, within hours to a day I can be fully engulfed in painful bumps and scabs. OK, I say all that to say that although it's early, the results are promising. My skin feels clear. The shave was not rough - just like any other razor, I would recommend taking it slow and gentle. My hair was still very low which may have contributed but I got a close shave and only did some minor detailing with a separate razor afterwards. I feel like I might have found "my product". When hair grows longer, may be best paired with your favorite trimmer. I would certainly recommend for newly balds who want a clean shave. If you struggle with sensitive skin, post-shave patches, cuts, or other regular shaving struggles, I recommend trying to see if this improves your routine. As for the value, if the results continue to look the way they do now, I would've been happy to pay $100 based on my history of scalp trauma!

not a close shave
razor does not give a close shave at al and irritated skin despite using all products in the kit to improve the quality of the shave
