Collasate Spray worked very well, our dog's elbow is healing. I could have saved a lot of money, if we had tried the spray first, instead of having the vet try to surgically sew it up, the incision didn't hold. It was a raw place about the size of a quarter that had to heal.

Will buy again and again, worked wonders on my lab. I do warn EVERYONE, wash your hands very VERY well after or put on some gloves. I made this mistake and even after brushing my teeth I could still taste that stuff and my god, it's a bad taste.

This spray helps wounds heal super fast! The taste didn't deter my dog and I had to buy a brace tp put over her leg so she can't get to the wound but I am amazed at how quickly skin has started growing back. I definitely recommend this to anyone that is looking to heal their pets wound quickly. I've tried so many different creams and sprays and everything else and nothing heals as quickly as this stuff.

This is an excellent product to protect, provide pain relief and speed healing of wounds in pets, but not just postoperative wounds. The spray is easy to apply to larger areas. For small areas the Collasate gel works better, but the gel does not have the bitter deterrent that the spray does. Be careful when spraying that you do not get any on your hands or face as it is quite bitter and you will taste it hours later! The spray must dry after application before dressing the wound, and you will find the animal gets relief from wound pain after application and dressing. I wish I had found this product years ago.

This stuff is great, it works on my lab but he still licks at spot.

It works very well on small wounds and scratches. I have two dogs that love to run in the thickets and they get scratched up from time to time. It is very bitter and even smelling it before it dries makes my throat catch a bit but it doesn't totally deter the dogs from licking it. According to the vet it is also very effective on people wounds and I have used it on myself as well.

She seemed to like it and it didn't deter her from licking the affected area.

I sprayed my dog and got a little on my hand. 4 hours later I ate a chip with that hand and almost threw up it was so bitter. Bitrex is NO JOKE bitter and should be applied with gloves on in a well ventilated area. That being said I got this product for my sweet Luna Tuna, our 8 month old pit mix, because she has been chewing sores into her hind feet. We use the spay after a bath on the areas that shes been nipping at. SHE LICKED IT OFF! I know this stuff is real because I got a little first hand, but my dog doesn't seem to have those taste buds. I have tried several times to see if it was a one time thing, but she doesn't seem to care at all.
