This pedal adds a variety of helpful features for vocals, including EQ modes, three kinds of reverb, three kinds of delay, and of course, pitch correction. The pitch correction is subtle. You aren't going to get Auto-tuned vocals out of it, but it will help if you slightly flub a note. There are a variety of routing options to allow you to have an instrument pass through to detect the key of your music for the pitch correction. There are also options to route both instrument and vocals either through the 1/4" or XLR output. I found that with the signals merged, the instrument was far louder than the microphone, even with the microphone gain turned all the way up, so if you plan to to use a single output, you may need to attenuate your instrument signal or further boost the microphone signal prior to this pedal. Using separate inputs posted no problem, and the phantom power worked well. This could be useful simply as an easy source of phantom power for those cases where it is not otherwise available. The reverbs and delays sound very nice, but only the reverb can be used on the instrument signal, while both can be used on the vocal. Overall, this is a very useful toolkit for vocals featuring most functions you would need on most all the time with a good selection options.

FV01: The main feature of this pedal is pitch correction, but it also includes a reverb effect, delay effect (with tap-tempo), 3 vocal tone settings (EQ), a gain knob, a switch for optional 48v phantom power, guitar input and output (with reverb effect for the guitar's signal), a switch for mixed or individual signal with the microphone and guitar, etc. It's really quite a versatile tool. I set this up in my home studio space and tried using both the XLR in/out for the microphone and the guitar in/out. I originally had the microphone plugged into a PA, but since the FV01 can also work as a mic preamp, it works perfectly well coming through the guitar amplifier. The reverb and delay effect are really great and are so easy to adjust to the perfect setting. The vocal tone (middle button) options are normal, warm, and bright. Warm suited me the best. The settings on the back are simple to adjust, and depending on your setup and how you want to use the pedal, that will help you decide how to utilize these settings. Now, onto the main effect. The way the pitch correction works for the FV01 is to correct your pitch to the nearest note. So, of you are close to where you should be, you may hardly notice a difference in the output. But if you're way off, you'll hear that "autotune" sound. And if you are so far off, your voice will be corrected to a different pitch than may be desired. This is not any criticism of the pedal. I just state these points to help a user get the best results from the FV01. I have used this pedal in a live setting and I'm pretty impressed with how well everything works out. It's especially nice for when you cannot hear yourself. I have had issues staying on pitch when I cannot hear myself. But when I created a simulation, the pitch correction worked great. FV02: See the attached demo video for my comments. Both pedals include a power supply, which is really nice. I also tested them with a One-Spot daisy-chained with a couple of other pedals. There was no major noise from the pedals and both are now added to my gigging pedalboard.

I think this is an excellent idea, and the price point is where it should be. If you want to had soft of hard chromatic autotune to your vocals in a live setting, this will do it great. Unfortunately, I don't think this belongs on a guitar board though, as it is just a little unwieldy, and most powersupplies will not provide the amperage it requires. So that said, there are things that need addressing because there are a ton of other features. My biggest issues with the product are the extra things, ie the delay, and multi mode input. The delays are fine totally. Like they do the job, but the controls for setting level, or the tap tempo are less than user friendly, and I am someone who reads manuals. The one in the box had nothing for me. I looked up the one online, and it is not any better. I've since figured it out, but only out of spite. The multi mode is misleading. Infact, having an instrument line through at all is not great for this. Trying to find the perfect balance of gain for each input is a wildly infuriating task because it is very easy to start clipping one of the two signals as they are dependent gain settings as far as I can tell. The ground lift, and phantom power definitely effect the instrument line. Which means your instrument is going to be much too loud, and clip, well before you can hear your vocals. My suggestion is to use one input at a time, or keep them separate by using the other mode. Probably the vocals. To end on a high note, the reverbs are actually pretty solid, and easy to dial in either a subtle or washed out sound. Over all, a very medium pedal.

I am a singing bassist in blues and classic rockish bands. I play professionally, but I am not a "gifted" singer. I've had TWO TC Helicon Mic Mechanic IIs. Both fried out on me. (I got the 3-year warranty on this one) This is my initial use review, which I will update as needed. A. You'll want to turn the gain WAY down. The primary "purpose" of this pedal is as a microphone pre-amp. All other features are built around that purpose. I used a tiny flat head screwdriver, but maybe a thumbnail would work in a pinch. B. As with other 'other pedals' the soundvoard should be zeroed out. Tone has zero/warm/bright. The tone does not turn off by action of the foot switch. C. Effects. I use about 15% plate reverb. That's it. The echo and reverb effects all operate as expected. D. Pitch-Correction. I sing the blues, and a few Rolling Stones songs. I'm not Jason Mraz. With the gain and all other factors dialed in, even at 100% I did not detect any artificial sounding corrections. I usually keep it at about 25% and everything sounded very solid. I didn't have to "push" my vocals as much. If I ever get a real singer to use it I'll let you know what they say. E. Foot switch. Green, everything is on. Red, Pitch Correction off, effects on. Tap it twice, No effects, no auto tune, but the TONE stays (which is not an issue- I just don't want echo/reverb when I'm talking to the audience.) In summary, this is a solid pedal. Turn the gain down, and if you get noise switch the ground and/or switch phantom power. Solid pedal so far.

I bought this for vocals, I’ve adjusted every setting and every setting has a massive amount of reverb, I sound like I’m in an empty warehouse no matter what I do. Probably great for guitar I guess but do not purchase this for vocals.

PRO: -lots of features in one piece of kit. -includes own power supply. -delay and reverb worked great for me, but not why I bought the product. CON: -Correction/Autotune did not really appear to work on my unit at all? -Hidden menu concept: this is annoying as heck. Having 1 foot switch that needs to be double-tapped (unreasonably) quickly to turn off correction, vs single-tapped to... do something else? Or Held to get to the Hidden menu to set the Tempo? OH and then the Correction knob sets the Feedback to the Reverb??? All this is dumb. Just put a few more knobs on it, instead of a big fancy logo. 1 switch for tapping, 1 switch to turning effects on and off, and 2 more potentiometers for settings. Done. -HUGE NOISE FLOOR PROBLEMS. So noisy. Made my mic sound significantly more static-y compared to plugging it into my mixer directly. I couldn't believe it. I spent a few hours messing with settings in the FV01 as well as the Mixer, adjusting Gain, trying different cables and power supplies, nothing helped. I'm returning the FV01 Corrector because it is too noisy for my setup, and I can't use it.

This pedal is really useful for a gigging musician who uses a heavily affected sound for their vocals and needs to remove the variable of both sound techs and provided equipment for gigs. The corrector component is solid, but I tend to use it more for the delay, reverb, and “tone” (blue). The corrector can sound pretty chorus-y in a floor wedge monitor type situation, but getting some isolation from your own voice via memory foam in-ears (in a recording or if in-ear monitors are available I think this pedal shines best though with its easy to use reverb and compressor and exciter that it uses in the “tone” button. I like that the corrector can be turned off and on independently from the reverb/delay, but I think a three button set up for future efforts might be nice, so you don’t have to bend down and turn a knob. Overall, really pleased with the build quality and sound quality. Will definitely be using this regularly.

I'm a live performer. My usual setup is Guitar and Mic into a Fishman Loudbox Mini which I DI directly into the PA for larger venues. I've always been very happy with the tone I get, but I saw the Flamma FV-01 and was excited at the prospect of seeing how other reverb/delay could enhance the vocals beyond my usual setup. I was also intrigued by the pitch-correction feature and figured it would be great insurance for those louder events when it's difficult to hear the monitor or I'm feeling a bit off. I was disappointed to find that no matter the setting, the Flamma FV-01 added a tinny, almost chorus effect to the Vocal. I tried various tweaks and two different amps, but no matter what, this digitally, artificially sound was coloring the vocal which I found quite off-putting. I did a blind-test with a friend and found that the vocal just sounded way better with the onboard settings on my Fishman that anything this pedal had to offer. I supposed of you are going for a deliberately fake, T-Payneesque performance, this can be a good value, but I will be returning.

A pretty much perfect clone of the slightly more expensive competitor. I used a lot of vocal effects that were waaay more complicated to tune in but in 90% of the scenarios, this will do everything a singer needs it to. The reverb and pitch correction is subtle and pleasant and the pedal is one of the easiest to to set up with only a few dials. I love this thing, it gave me the confidence to do back ups and even sing 2 or 3 songs in my garage band.

En cuanto a la construcción es muy buena, los inputs de guitarra y microfono así como las perillas se sienten firmes, es todo metálico. Es una herramienta muy útil para vocalista. El corrector es bueno pero no puede hacer milagros y suena prácticamente como un "auto-tune". Es muy útil también que funciona como amplificador para micrófonos y que tenga los efectos de reverb y delay integrados. El phantom +48v es muy útil ya que te permite usar cualquier tipo de micrófono, aunque no lo he usado con uno de condensador. Para usar con la guitarra la señal solo pasa a través del reverb pero no del delay, creo que esto es algo que cambiaría, que tambien el delay se pudiera usar con guitarra directamente en el pedal. No incluye un manual muy detallado, hay que revisar en la información del producto para saber como cambiar la seleccion de salidas o las opciones 'ocultas', pero es muy sencillo en general. Creo que es buena compra y si me es posible actualizaré la reseña con un video. Recomendado. ***Actualización FV02 Doubling*** Adquirí el FV02 y el pedal tiene una gran construcción al igual que el FV01. Producto totalmente de calidad con excelentes acabados. Es de funcionamiento similar al FV01 y los efectos vocales son bastante interesantes. El reverb también es de calidad. El efecto de octava arriba y el de octava abajo creo que son los que más me gusta aunque creo que todos podrían ser útiles ya sea en una presentación o incluso para hacer cosas interesantes si grabas podcasts. En el vídeo se aprecian los efectos vocales, subí casi al 100 el nivel del efecto para que se aprecien bien. No lo hice en el vídeo pero obviamente se combinan el reverb y los efectos. FV02 recomendado. ***Actualización FV03 Character*** Este ese el pedal más divertido de usar de esta serie. Las emulación es de voz en mi caso, de mujer y bebé alcanzan a resaltar naturales a comparación de otras herramientas digitales como las que hay en la edición de videos. Al emular una voz de hombre con mi voz natural resulta en una voz muy grave y profunda. Las voces de robot son muy interesantes. Mi favorita es la de robot 1. Creo que este pedal tiene aplicaciones para grabar podcast o hacer presentaciones en vivo, tal vez lecturas dramatizadas. Si buscas una herramienta con estás características es altamente recomendado. ***Actualización FV04 Harmony*** Cómo el resto de los pedales de esta línea, está perfectamente construido en cuanto a controles, perillas y el chasis tiene un acabado azul muy bueno, todo de metal, se ve completamente profesional Este pedal permite armonizar tu voz de acuerdo al tono en que se canta, ya sea una octava arriba o abajo, 3ras y 5tas y algunas combinaciones. Creo que algunas llegan a sonar algo digitales, no tan naturales. Para una presentación en vivo estaría perfecto. Además de la armonización tiene un efecto de reverb muy agradable Recomendado!

Accessoire peu convaincant selon mon expérience. La correction de voix est, pour mon cas (grave) quasiment inexistante et s’apparente davantage à un chorus. La réverbération et le delay sont délicats à régler et les 3 modes sur le même potentiomètre ne sont pas, toujours selon moi, très pratiques. De plus, à la mise sous tension, les réglages précédents ne sont pas correctement restitués sauf à désactiver puis réactiver les effets avec le switch. Pas fiable… Le fonctionnement poussoir qui permet de couper/activer reverb et delay, et avec un appui double et rapide de bipasser tous les effets et correction de voix, est très aléatoire et ne donne pas, plus d’une fois sur deux, le résultat attendu. Enfin la notice est d’une inutilité remarquable, illisible sauf à utiliser une loupe et bourrée d’erreur. Accessoire inutile pour mon usage, mal conçu et peu fiable, retourné après 10 jours.
