I have a 7 year old what size to get?

Sizing seems accurate to me. I got the small for my 4 year old last year, and it fit fine, was a tad big which I expected.

Would the small suffice for a 4 year old

My 8 year old wore the small and was around 50 lbs and wearing a size 6x/7.
