Great harness/leash set that lets me keep my cat safe and lets him enjoy the outside world during his twilight years
I purchased this set for my aging cat (who was 9 when I bought this and is now 11) when it became clear that he was no longer suited for his previous indoor/outdoor lifestyle and would be a healthier, safer cat if he was kept inside as much as possible. I didn't want to completely isolate him from the outside world, but I also didn't want him to be put at risk of sickness or injury. Walks together using this harness and leash was the perfect solution to the problem and was a good compromise for both me and the cat. He gets to enjoy the fresh air and mark his territory and get exercise, while I get the peace of mind that comes with knowing he's not in harm's way. Now, Blizzard is one of those uncommon cats that doesn't really ever fight me on anything, even if he's not thrilled, he just passively takes whatever I decide to do to him. He lets me give him baths, touch his tummy, get stuff from his eyes, check around in his mouth, wipe his butt, all that kind of stuff that cats generally fight their owners on, so he really had no trouble getting the harness on or walking with it on. I don't expect that to be the general experience, but for my cat, it was no trouble at all. He didn't fight the harness, try to slip out of it, lay down in defiance, or refuse to walk. In fact, the only trouble I run into with taking him on walks is that he sometimes hisses at me when we're on walks and he isn't quite ready to stop sniffing something and I want to keep moving (which isn't the product's fault!). I will say, however, that I find this product's sizing to be a little weird. Blizzard is not a large cat at all. In fact, he's considerably smaller than most of the other cats I've had in my life and most of the cats I see around the neighborhood. I'm quite sure my little bobbed-tail baby was the runt of his litter. He weighs about 10 lbs. But the large size harness fits in pretty well without a lot of adjusting. I'd definitely measure your cat and compare the numbers to what the product description says before purchasing! Other than this, I find the harness to be a quality product that's held up well. A few times Blizzard has tried to dart off very quickly while wearing the harness/leash and managed to get a front leg free from the force of suddenly running, but he's never been able to fully pull himself out the harness, so I think this is a worthwhile buy if you have a wiggly, slinky cat that's prone to slipping free. There are several ways/places to adjust the harness, so it can be tightened to each cat in the way that it needs to be to ensure the cat is secure and won't be getting off their leash anytime soon. The harness is also pretty comfy apparently, since Blizzard has been able to lounge and snooze in his without trying to scratch his way free of it. It was also a perk that the harness/leash set comes in so many colors! Overall, a five star product

Size small fits 3 month old kitten
I was very skeptical. I searched and searched for a kitten harness. I landed on this one, and I am happy for it. It took a few minutes to get the right fit for him. He has yet to successfully escape. Despite many attempts. And so far, the last few times of use have been him basically ignoring the harness and leash. Which tells me it is comfortable enough that it doesn't bother him. I got the red because my cat is a tabby and I bring him outside with me at night, so I wanted color contrast, and it definitely delivered there. Plus it is spiffy looking, almost like hes wearing a power tie. It seems durable enough too. My kitten is feisty, I named him Loki for a reason. And this harness and leash have held up against his hyperactivity and attempts to play with and escape from the harness very well. I made it snug enough that he cannot back out of it, but I can still fit a finger between him and his harness. The rubber stopper isn't the best, and does slip like other reviews have stated, but that has yet to affect the fit or security of the harness. I might be able to use this on him until he's full grown, but if I can't, then I plan on buying this same one in a bigger size. For me and my kitten, this was a great purchase.

Works well unless your cat panics...
I had a harness years ago that I used while I was moving, on one of my cats who was pretty wild and a mostly outdoor cat at the time. He was able to get out of it like Houdini and I never used it again. Thank GOD I was able to quietly walk over and retrieve him before he took off & delayed the move! I was attracted to this one because it is reasonably priced and not only came with a leash, but a bungee leash. My husband and I moved a year ago and since then our three cats, including the aforementioned cat, have become exclusively indoor cats. I thought this would be a good way to let them get outdoors with us, but remain safe. I thought I would buy one harness to start with and see how it goes. Two of our cats have not taken well to the harness so far, but the cat I mentioned before whom I have had the longest, did the best. He was so happy to claw on tree bark again! The first time we went out, he just might have led me all over the neighborhood if I had let him walk that far. Last time however, he was doing wonderfully until a neighbor came out and said "Hello." I forgot how afraid of strangers he is and he pulled walking backwards hard enough that he slipped right out of the harness! He has always been a very strong (and strong-willed!) cat, but I did not think this would happen. Luckily, he ran straight to the back door from which we had exited and did not get lost. I did not want to ruin his experience so I put it back on him & walked around in a quiet area for a few minutes before I took him back inside. I will probably use this again under even closer supervision and may need to tighten it more. I thought it was pretty snug though. This might be best for us on an early morning or late night when there is minimal traffic from people and cars. All of the noises here are strange to them. I am afraid of him getting loose again and will take great care that it does not happen any more. This does seem to be a good product and even comes with a helpful booklet. The book tells you how to fasten the harness correctly and has some good tips for on how to introduce kitty to the outdoors. I might invest in a more expensive vest style harness next time. I think this one will work well for someone with more docile cats or with a kitten that is being trained and introduced to a harness. Next time I have very young cats I am going to be getting them used to harnesses-as well as baths!-from a young age.

Perfect for a Tiny Chihuahua
I had always used collars with my Chihuahua, but on one of our walks, someone came up to me and said that collars pose safety risks to dogs. I then tried several dog harnesses. Unfortunately, they were all too bulky and stiff for her tiny frame. It was like putting her in a straitjacket. We went back to collars, but she eventually learned how to slip out of them whenever someone outside our immediate family walked her. Then we found this cat harness, and it worked perfectly for her! It wasn’t the easiest harness to put on because of all the loops and straps, but once it was on, it's lightweight, comfortable, and very secure. She barely seemed to notice she was wearing it, and I loved the red color on her. It held up wonderfully to daily use for 4 years, until she eventually passed away. The harness is still in great condition to this day. Highly recommend to all Chihuahua owners!

Harness Fine, Leash Missing
Came in a plastic bag, no packaging, and missing the leash altogether. Only received the harness. Was probably a returned item that was resold to me. Harness works fine, but as some have mentioned, can be a little tricky to pull over the head of a feisty cat for the neck portion. The waist portion has 2 snaps you can unclick, so kitty doesn't need to step into it. I got a medium size and my cat is relatively small, weighing about 7-8 lbs. Medium was big enough for me to tighten to fit her safely but not too small that she was uncomfortable. If you don't adjust the rubber stopper on the back piece, they can loosen themselves free. The rubber stopper keeps the harness snug at the size you make it.

My cat hates it, while I love it! Save the birds consipriacy?
My cat hates this leash, while absolutely I love it! He ran around inside the house all morning until afternoon, meowing and wanting to go outside. As soon as I put the harness on him while still omitting attaching the leash, he immediately protested wearing the harness by walking from the door opening to the corner of the door where the door hinges are and lays down onto the floor refusing to rise or move when touched! (ie. He makes himself feel overly heavy like children do when they do not want to be picked up.) Then I thought, maybe I should put him on the harness, during mornings and late evenings, just to keep him settled down? The reason why he has to be on a leash, he was recently bit which required a visit to the Animal Emergency Room, as well as a follow-up to his regular veterinarian doctor. He was initially shaved, and the laceration(s) required a week or so of healing time. Since we're now having below zero temperatures outside during Winter now, it's probably not a really great idea for him to spend much time outside until his fur grows back. Not only this, but other animals will surely know where to bite him without any fur to hide is body. Pros: 1) The harness is not too difficult to place on the cat, once you learn how the harness works. 2) Can likely really twirl your cat around and around without any fear of the thick leash breaking! Cons: 1) My cat hates it, but I love it because he then no longer wants to go outside! 2) The plastic harness snaps are somewhat small, difficult to snap together, and difficult to discern if they're face-up. 3) If the harness is too loose, the cat will simply step through. And if too tight, the cat will choke himself. 4) The leash is extremely heavy, and my one year old cat along with I prefer using simple twine. Twine is extremely lighter and undetectable by the cat when he's walking. 5) The leash is somewhat short, but any longer and the leash would then be much heavier. The reason the leash is heavy, is due to the Macrame weaving of the leash. 6) The cat tends to hate putting his head through the initial opening, but once through he appears fine with it until going outside. So maybe an elastic harness might be a better solution, so the opening could be easily temporarily enlarged to avoid touching his whiskers? 7) 2018.08.17: Is it a bad thing if the cat gets lost while wearing this entire harness and leash? On approximately August 17th 2018 at 8:00 PM, my cat did so. He likely got very lucky while getting likely stuck somewhere within North Pole Alaska, and was apparently able to eventually either step through or pull himself through the harness! He luckily, and unusual for his usual running free routine, turned-up at 7 AM the following morning! Since there are no break-away snaps, double check all of your knots and tie downs! 8) 2018.08.22: Noticed on the purchased replacement product, an American Bird Conservancy notice. Also noticed the product seems to now have smaller buckles and parts? (Attached a photo of the product nomenclature.)

Solid harness
I really like this harness and color of it for my cat. Feels durable, lightweight, is adjustable, and suitable for my cat. I got a medium and it fits nicely on her. I've gone through different types of harnesses with her too and this is the best one!

Both of my cats love this harness!
I’ve actually purchased this harness twice - once in the small size, for when my cats were small kittens, and once in the medium size, for when they are adults. Both of my cats have taken to this harness swimmingly - in fact, my black kitty, Xiong, will stick his head through the harness loop because he’s so excited to go for a walk. I have another model of harness that I’ve used, and while he likes it, he doesn’t actively seem to want it put on. With this harness, though, both of my cats are very happy. I can’t speak to its escape-proofness, as neither of my cats have ever tried to escape from it, but in regards to fit, comfort, flexibility, and durability, this harness is a solid choice. Xiong is 12 pounds, and his brother is a pound or two below that. The medium fits, but on Xiong, only barely. It would be wise to size up and try a large if your cat is much larger than 12 pounds. As for the size small, which I had ordered previously, it fit my kittens well, even as they became adolescents. It wouldn’t fit them now, though! And I can’t say enough good things about the bungee leash. It’s a little wider than the harness straps, which makes me feel better as it seems very sturdy and secure, and the amount of bounce it has is unbelievable. I prefer using a bungee leash with my cats in case they dart or jump, and the leash was actually a large motivation for me to choose this harness in particular. It’s also rather durable - my cats have gone through bushes and pounced on the leash, and though it has a few fuzzy little snags, it functions just fine and it’s easily rectified anyhow. Thank you so much for making a wonderful product! I hope to see a wider variety of colours in the future, and I would feel very comfortable recommending this set to anyone who wanted to try harness training their cat.

Secure harness when fitted correctly.
Wasn't sure how much success I'd have harness training a 4-year old Bengal cat, but she has taken to this without too much fuss. It's important to harness train cats in small steps to begin with...The cat will likely exhibit unusual behaviour at first, such as flopping on the ground or crawling on the floor or reversing in an effort to escape it, so make introductions short to begin with, no more than 5 minutes first time then all going well keep trying it each day gradually increasing the duration each time, making sure it's properly fastened and secure but allowing enough space to get two fingers under it so it's not too tight. The trick is to persevere and encourage the cat with treats and lots of petting and reassurance each time and try to engage them in play so that they develop a positive association with it. Within just a few days my cat was allowing me to put the harness on her without any fuss. After leaving the harness on her about an hour (during which time she mopped around in an apparent huff) I decided it was time to put the leash on her and take her into the garden. Once she had the outdoors to explore, along with me for security and reassurance, she took to it well and didnt try to escape. I have to say the leash that comes with the harness is also excellent, since the bungee prevents too much jarring or risk of injury if she bolts. A couple of times she did want to run, but mostly out of joy from having all the space to explore. The bungee leash was perfect for that, and once she's used to it, I will maybe switch to an extending chord leash to allow her to range a bit further while still staying safe. I'm confident after a few days training that I can now take her further afield and go on trips into the countryside without her freaking out and/or trying to escape. I was given the advice that tying a knot into the part of the harness where it fastens to a leash can help make it more difficult for the cat to escape, but I haven't found that I needed to do that. While this harness can be tricky to put on, requiring that it goes over the head then fastening on two sides, it is very secure once in position and adjusted to the right size for your cat. It should also be quicker to get used to than say a jacket harness, which may be easier to put on, but is also more restrictive. I'd previously tried a 'Voyager Step-In' jacket harness actually meant for small dogs, and she didnt take to it very well, freezing and flopping over almost as if she was having a seizure. I may work up to the jacket harness for certain outdoor conditions (winter for example), but the 'Come To Me Kitty' harness seems to be doing the job just fine, and compared to a jacket harness, it should quickly feel to the cat like it's not even there. Overall very happy with my purchase, and the cat seems happy too now that it's opened up a whole new world of outdoor adventures for her.

Perfect
I've bought a harness for her before, but she hated it. It gave her a lot of stress. But as she loves to be outside so i wanted to give it another go. As she's got a lot of fur i wanted something that wasn't gonna be too warm. So this will also work for summers. This harness arrived 3 days ago! I put it on her very loosely the evening I got it and she wasn't too keen. But I distracted het with a few toys and she didn't even notice it anymore. The next day I let her outside in the garden with it and she just did her thing as she usually does. Today (day 3) I put the leash on and that is when it started annoying her and started yo bite the leash. But I held it up very lose and she started walking. She doesn't run off so I actually felt secure enough to open the gate and walked a bit outside the garden. Her little nose went in overdrive with all the smells. She has to learn to walk with a leash properly. And I eventually will get her a roller one. But for now, I am really happy with this harness. It is easy to put on and to adjust. I watched a YouTube video of someone putting the harness on their cat and I found that to be very helpful. I knew on forehand how to put it on her so it didn't take unnecessarily long as you're trying to figure it out a long the way. There's also manual included which I found helpful. It explains how it's safely secured on your kitten. The only issue I have with it, is the clip thingies are small which make it a bit difficult to open. And I think for larger breeds it may be too small. My kitten is 4,2kg. And she is wearing the large model. There is room to grow, but she is petit compared to her siblings. They may not fit this when they're fully grown. Which is also something to keep in consideration

Aucun appel aucun message pour me prévenir. Et en plus la livraison à été notée comme "déposé dans la boîte aux lettres). J'ai dû demander à mes voisins si quelqu'un l'avait en sa possession

Great product
Value for money purchase. It is nylon but the build quality is good. My cat accepted it immediately. The bungee leash is awesome to ensure cat doesn't choke constantly.
