Love!!!! We visited the olive orchard where they make this olive oil and it was wonderful!!! I left believing that this is the best olive oil in the world and I go out of my way to use it for all my cold, fresh oil applications.

The product and flavor is exceptional. Having the opportunity to actually view the olive trees and orchards and experience the making of this product in Greece is a bonus. I really didn't think I would purchase the product upon my return to the United States because I didn't think it would be available to consumers. I have purchased several of these items for gifts. I first tried Biolea after touring their oil grove and mill in Crete. The bottle I bought from Amazon had the same great taste. A truly special product.

We have been to this olive oil farm in Crete. Family owned for thousands of years. We learned so much about olive oil. In fact, I email them whenever I have more questions and they always respond! We were told we could only buy in the United States from a buyer in Massachusetts. I was thrilled to find on Amazon! When purchasing olive oil, make sure you buy only "cold pressed" or "first cold pressed". This process gently presses the olives using a huge stone. Never buy "extracted". This process grinds the olives along with the pits. Sometimes, other things are cut into the olive oil too.

I did a lot of research since I wanted to get a high quality olive oil, and this met my expectations!

I visited this farm when I was in Crete. I fell in love with the way they grow their olives, the history and the processing. They don't water their olives, thereby stressing them to produce more antioxidants. They don't use chemical solvents to separate the water, instead using gravity. They still use stone grinding, and they are I believe third generation on this farm. You'd think that in Greece, of all places, people would still use stone grinding. However, sadly, they are either the only or one of the only commercial places that still use this method. I highly recommend the product as it's far superior to anything I've ever found. Bariani in California is another good one, but this product is by far my favorite.

So delicious and balanced. This is our go to for salads and spanikopita. Can’t beat it. Discovered by chance in Crete.

I use it sparingly, mainly in salads and dipping bread with balsamic vinegar....yummy!

ギリシャ産のオリーブオイルは特有の青っぽい香りが立つものが多いですが、こちらは非常にマイルドです。もう少し香りがあっても良いと思いますが、これはこれで使い勝手がよく重宝しています。パスタやカルパッチョ、サラダドレッシングに使用しています。
