Paper quality is ok but some bleeding when drawing with pen not much tooth. Good size well made

I recently decided to get back into doing some art recently and since my old A3 pad was running low I had a look around Amazon to see what was on offer. I initially had no plan on getting something fancy, but upon seeing this wondrous sketchbook I figured that if I got this one instead of an el-cheapo pad, I'd feel less inclined to do random doodles and actually fill this with some good stuff. This sketchbook is absolutely gorgeous; it's properly hardbound and features eighty pages of nice, smooth and fairly thick paper. So far, I have used it for a drawing which was first sketched out in pencil and then heavily cross-hatched using copic multiliner pens and dark coloured brush pens. None of the ink has bled through, so it's perfect for heavy ink work and possibly paints. Ultimately, this is a brilliant sketchbook for the money and I would thoroughly recommend it!

Io ne sono letteralmente innamorata. Essendo di carta riciclata, che è il motivo per cui l'ho comprato, non mi aspettavo dei fogli di così buona fattura! Non avendo mai avuto uno sketchbook e avendo sempre utilizzato per miei schizzi dei fogli "volanti" da stampante, non avevo grosse pretese per il mio primo sketchbook e quindi ho optato per quello più economico che ho trovato, e che fosse fatto di carta riciclata,giusto con l'intenzione di avere qualcosa (che non avesse avuto un grande impatta sull'ambiente) su cui raccogliere i miei schizzi senza rischiare di perderli. Invece, essendo i fogli abbastanza spessi e leggermente (e sottolineo leggermette) ruvidi, sono perfetti anche per essere leggermente acquerellati. Inoltre la rilegatura a libro permette di sfruttare la doppia pagina come se fosse una unica più grande, cosa che adoro. E poi vogliamo parlare dell'estetica? La copertina rigida brossata in tela gli da un aspetto grezzo ma professionale, cosa che mi piace proprio tanto. Insomma, lo consiglio vivamente, dubito che si trovino altri prodotti del genere con un così buon rapporto qualità - prezzo. Io sicuramente lo riacquisterò,magari più grande e per dipinti veri e propri.

I tend to be pretty mixed media when it comes to sketchbooks, I'll use markers, pencils, inks, all that good stuff! I bought this sketchbook because I was looking for a square format with a hardcover that wasn't too expensive. I love hardcover sketchbooks cause they're Moe comfortable for me to work with. Considering the price, I didn't think the paper would be as thick as it was! It's held almost everything I've tried (besides alcohol markers but what's new?). Ink wash doesn't bleed through (although if adding too much water, it can tear up), brush pens don't feather as much (really depends on the brand), and I just loved sketching with pencils and colored pencils! I have yet to try watercolor and gouache, but maybe in the future I'll look into it... Overall I love this and even bought a second one (I'm debating a third considering how fast I've filled these up). I'd recommend it as a just for fun sketchbook!

Lo sketchbook è ottimo, soprattutto per il prezzo. Premetto che da uno sketchbook non mi aspetto mai chissà che, perché lo uso appunto, per sketch e non disegmi finiti. Ma questo mi ha davvero lasciato piacevolmente sorpresa. La carta è molto spessa e regge bene anche gli acquerelli. I markers a base alcolica passano attraverso e macchiano anche il foglio sotto, ma mettendo un pezzo di carta secondo me viene anche bene. In generale lo consiglio. Attenzione alla copertina che è dincarta anchessa. Quando ho tolto l'etichetta del codice a barre si è spelata tantissimo ahaha

My daughter is quite the sketcher and flew through this book, filling it up fast, but it’s perfect for tucking in a bag or sitting on the couch to sketch. The pages are sturdy, as is the cover, and it’s great.
