Ghirardelli, Baking Chips Semi Sweet, 12 Ounce

Wonderful chocolate chips. Perfect level of sweetness and flavor. A staple in my kitchen.

I love these semisweet chocolate chips. I am a chocaholic and while these are in my pantry for cooking I primarily eat them in chip form in place of buying and devouring chocolate candy and candy bars. I was buying bags of mini candy bars and eating like 5 of them 3 times per day. The scale was showing my love for chocolate candy so I thought about how I could realistically cut back on my chocolate candy consumption. Chocolate chips were the answer. Whenever I'm really craving chocolate I have a few chocolate chips, savoring the flavor of these delicious chips as they melt in my mouth. They really do satisfy my need for chocolate. I've lost 25 pounds over the last 4 months, down from 150lbs to 125lbs primarily due to no longer eating any candy bars. These chips are great to use in baked good too because they truly are delicious, they have none of that odd rather vomit like aroma or flavor that one of the standard American Chocolate Chip brands does. They are creamy and super yummy.

As always a superior product - Rich & Creamy Choc.I used these in the Banana - Oatmeal cookies.Melts very well - I used these to make dried cranberry/Blueberry clusters!

I bought these to make microwave s'mores with. I've always preferred semi sweet chocolate chips to a whole bar of milk chocolate. This is a very nice quality of chocolate. It reminds me of Toll House morsels, but you can definitely taste that the ingredients are a cut above in quality. I must say, they make a delicious s'more and I'll be sure to make some chocolate chip cookies, the real test of any semi-sweet morsel, before they're all gone.

Not the cheapest but I love the Ghirardelli chocolate taste. What can I say, I like good stuff.

Oh my stars I never knew I liked semi dark chocolate so after these I tried darker chocolate and it’s actually very good. I guess we have to “wean” ourselves into something that has proven to be good for us. I buy only Ghirardelli Dark now and I know only this BRAND is superior to any other. For cookies it melts to perfection and for ingredients and size (here at Amazon only) I get the best value for size, taste, baking needs and content. You too will be excited to share your happiness with a quality Chocolate whether Milk or Dark because everyone knows CHOCOLATE IS THE CURE for everything. Enjoy everyone!

Buy a bag now and try and make it last until your Christmas cookie baking season - I dare you! Love these - nice texture and hold together well but if you want to melt them, lovely smooth non grainy texture. The best for chic chip cookies!

Really worth buying this brand. Makes all the difference to the final results. They really know how to make chocolate - unlike Hersheys (vomit chocolate) .

Chocolate chips were clearly stale and years out of date. Somehow they merged together. Never again.

The best chocolate chips. I won’t bake with any thing else. Can’t find them in stores and now Amazon sellers have skyrocketed the price for a bag so sadly might be my last bag
