Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT Solar Charge Controller

This is a great charge controller. It has no cooling fan and practically noise free. It is 98% efficient. You get what you pay for is true when it comes to this brand. They cost more, but they well worth it. Buy one of those off brands out there and you will have to put up with loud non-stop cooling fan noise.

This controller almost seems to pull energy from clouds. I tried two Tracer Series MPPT controllers (10A RN and 20A BN series). They are good, but compared to this controller they are slow catching up with the rapidly changing cloud conditions in the Pacific North West near the Canadian border. Quick rundown on likes: - It rapidly finds the mpp, and seems to build local profiles to swap back to in rapidly changing conditions (from direct sun to dark rain and in the middle). - In a side by side test, this controller reliably harvests at least +10% more energy from my Lensun 80W 12V panels than either of my Tracer controllers. - It has a built in battery charging profiles you can select by dial - including one for LiFePO4 batteries. - The documentaiton is clear and in English. - The firmware upgrades installed quickly and flawlessly. Additional things that put this controller way over the top for me: - Victron ToolKit app for the complete listing of blink codes to let you know what program the controller is running on. The information is in the manual, but the animated app gave me great peace of mind to know I wasn't about to do damage to my LFP battery bank. (The setting dial has no indication of what setting it's turned to, so blink codes are the only way to know for sure.) It was handy to have the cable calculator to confirm wire sizes, run lengths and voltage loss. - The BlueTooth dongle. Not required since the lights on the controller clearly tell you if you're in blulk, absorption, or float mode. However if you're a freak/geek like me and want to see settings in detail, have peace of mind about your battery bank while the controller is in action, and monitor performance? It's well worth the price of admission.

Purchased the Blue by mistake but after adding comm cable, it works just as good as the bigger brother of same size for 24 volt battery system. Does not seem to get as warm as my 48 volt charger but it pumping a little less amps.

No Bluetooth

Great product. Shipping from Amzon was less than stiller. A box that was at least 4 times to big with a a single small pc of brown paper in it. The items rattled around when I picked it up. Upon opening it one of the items being the Victron 100/50 was out of its original box. The tape job looked as if the tape was rationed on the shipping box. Foer stars because the charge controller had come out of its box and the box was beat up a bit. My panels came in with the box crushed on the edge and a slit nearly centered. They are good to go thankfully. Love my amazon but these two packages have me thinking about ordering straight from the manufacturer. Next couple of orders will determine that. Product should had received five stars. Victron can thank amazon for the four stars. Its called professionalism and supervisors/QA checking the line and proper training. To easy and unacceptable. First of this type of experience with amazon and hopefully the last.

Great product putting out 50 amps with 1,000 watts of solar panels

only thing i dont like is having to get the bluetooth dongle separately. not so easy a feat, securing one always (it seems), but i did get one finally. otherwise mppt speaks for itself. one of the best (imho) *shrugs*

Excellent quality, typical of Victron. I'm fed up with trying to save money on cheaper solar gear (where it matters, like here) and only use Victron. The stuff just works. The app just works. You plug it in and it works. The instructions you receive are legible and correct and (shocking!) they actually pertain to the item you bought, not the one 3 versions ago that is totally different. This charge controller is excellent and dependable. It just works.

Ich habe den Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT Laderegler (100V / 50A für 12/24V) nun in meiner Anlage verbaut und bin restlos begeistert. Wer auf der Suche nach einem wirklich hochwertigen und effizienten Solar-Laderegler ist, kommt an Victron einfach nicht vorbei – und dieses Gerät beweist einmal mehr, warum das so ist. Im Foto mein voriges Setup mit einem kleineren MPPT. Hier sind die Punkte, die mich absolut überzeugt haben: Höchste Zuverlässigkeit & Performance: Der Laderegler läuft extrem stabil und tut völlig unaufgeregt genau das, was er soll. Dank des ultraschnellen MPPT-Trackings holt er selbst bei Teilbeschattung, bewölktem Himmel oder schnell wechselnden Lichtverhältnissen das absolute Maximum aus den Solarmodulen heraus. Das Gerät wird nicht übermäßig heiß und verrichtet lautlos und zuverlässig seinen Dienst. Man merkt sofort: Das ist Profi-Hardware, auf die man sich verlassen kann. Das geniale Victron-Ökosystem: Was Victron für mich aber wirklich von der Konkurrenz abhebt, ist das gesamte Umfeld. Das Victron-Ökosystem ist schlichtweg super! Die Art und Weise, wie die verschiedenen Geräte (Laderegler, Wechselrichter, Batteriemonitore) miteinander harmonieren und kommunizieren, ist auf dem Markt unübertroffen. Über den VE.Direct-Anschluss lässt sich der BlueSolar perfekt in die Anlage integrieren (z. B. an einen Cerbo GX oder über einen Bluetooth-Dongle für die VictronConnect App). Alles ist modular, durchdacht und greift wie ein Schweizer Uhrwerk ineinander. Mein Fazit: Oft heißt es: "Wer billig kauft, kauft zweimal." Das trifft bei Solaranlagen absolut zu. Ja, Victron-Produkte sind eine kleine Investition, aber sie lohnt sich ab dem ersten Tag. Man bekommt Geräte, die unglaublich zuverlässig laufen, und profitiert von einem Ökosystem, das die Überwachung und Steuerung der Anlage zum reinsten Vergnügen macht. Für den BlueSolar MPPT 100/50 gibt es von mir daher volle 5 Sterne und eine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung

I bought this to add some solar panels to my LiFePo4 batteries, it works well and with the optional bluetooth adaptor it gives a lot of useful information. I will be going off grid soon when I move onto my block of land permanently and this is a good start to dip my toes in before I go totally off grid.

j ai remplacer mon renogy par celui la et il est plus précis. j utilise aussi le shunt et maintenant je n ai q une seul app pour géré mon energie sur le bateau. Je ne regrette pas. L installation du filage se fait avec un tournevis plat et assez mince c est a prendre en compte.
