No, it is not stiff, holds knots well and there is low to no stretch with this rope. I use it on my sailboat.

Would this be appropriate to restring my Corinthian Bells wind chime?

this ripe holds up very well to the suns UV. I use it for guy lines for my ham antenna tower and it has been doing great for three years now. I have used the same type of rope of smaller diameter for my smaller wind chimes.

Heavy duty rope.

Very nice rope, much better than what came on my Fisker‘s pole trimmer, the original rope failed the first day I used it in about six hours. It was all stretched out of whack, twisted up and frayed.

Great quality line

I needed cordage smaller than 1/4 but bigger than paracord. This fit the bill perfectly. It seems much stronger than most 1/4 inch line. Easy to tie knots in. Tight braid
