This solved the problem with the "too thin" chair mat my wife had. She loves this one and her chair rolls easily now. Highly recommend.

For years we have put up with the cracking, breaking of the typical chair mat and having to replace it every year (or sooner!) This is AMAZING!!! Bright and shiny, see thru and very sturdy. First off, we have a medium pile carpet. Also, my husband is over 250 and has a large, heavy, wheeled executive desk chair and after using for a few months now, we couldn’t be happier! Well worth the money compared to spending $40-$50 every year or so.

I was initially pleased with this mat. While the protective film took some effort to remove, it did provide a smooth rolling surface and helped protect the carpet. However, after regular use with a heavier office chair, it's begun to crack. I’ve realized this version is just too thin (0.08″) to hold up long-term on carpet - especially under weight. If you're using a heavier chair or rolling often, I recommend looking for a thicker version (at least 0.11″ or more) to avoid this issue.

Just a note... It appears that the protective sheeting is only on one side. However, it is on both sides and needs to be removed or you will think that the mat is white instead of clear...LOL Also should have purchased the option to get deep pile carpet but I did not see that option at the time. Works great and looks great.

At first this was quite nice. After less than a year it has developed holes from my chair wheels. Granted, I actually have it on carpet (there is a vinyl mat on top of the carpet which makes using the normal spiky chair mats a problem) and I'm sure it would last better on a hard floor. But it definitely is not right for my application.

The product description indicates this chair mat is made of polycarbonate. What I received is not. According to my research, you can't roll polycarbonate into a tube unless you plan for it to remain forever in that shape. The description also indicates it will be shipped flat. What was sent to me was not, as you can see in the picture, it was rolled into a tube. I contacted the seller to return it, and they offered me 10.00 to keep it, but I don't want a discount on a completely different product. To return it, I'm expected to pay for shipping to China. Uh, it shipped from the midwest. I don't think I should have to pay the shipping to return something that was not what I was purchasing. The description was incorrect. I would not have ordered a flexible mat, I already have one of those that forms waves all day when I move my chair. I bet the correct product is great, though.

I compared a lot of these & came up with this beauty as the best of them. Love it. No problems. I peeled off the protective paper with writing on it & thought I was sent the wrong item as it was milky & not clear. I realized it has a sheet on BOTH sides you remove. Voila. Beautiful crystal clear like a sheet of glass, but not glass. Ships in sturdy flat cardboard. Not rolled up. Perfect. Its shiny & in my peripheral vision sometimes I think my floor flooded.. lol. It's not over-slippery for casters, just the perfect movement. I highly recommend.

This is the 3rd office mat that I’ve purchased and so happy it was a good fit for me.- very hard and sturdy- at first glance you can’t even tell my chair is sitting on anything- very sturdy, i have seen some of the reviews complaining that it’s cracked. I’ve had mine for a couple of months now with no issues, however I could see that cracking may be possible if you are a heavier person. I am 130lbs and the primary person to use my office, but my husband will occasionally use it and he weighs 200lbs and we haven’t had any cracking or issues.
