Stylish and Comfortable
This is a great husband style pillow and the quality is terrific. The material is ribbed and very soft. The item comes vacuum sealed extremely well and when you take it out the instructions said it will expand in 24-48 hours or to expedite put in the dryer. I put mine in the dryer for 25 minutes and it came out perfectly full as seen in the images. It is very supportive and the back and side pockets are so great I put my remote in one and my phone in the other. There is a handle on the top to make it easy to move around which is helpful because it’s bulky. The inside material is memory foam which I love because it molds to your body for extra comfort. Also, the cover is removable to make it easy for when you need to clean it. After using it for one day my husband tried it and made me order him one too for when we watch TV on the sofa! It also comes with a note from the seller that reads email with any concerns and they respond within 24 hours, which is good to know! I can’t think of anything that I don’t like about this but maybe if it was a bit taller to support your head but the measurements are accurate and it falls just to the high point of your back, which you can see in my photos.

Comfort and Support During Recovery
I gave this Nestl Reading Pillow to a family member who was recovering from stomach surgery, and it made a big difference in their comfort. The shredded memory foam provides excellent support while sitting up in bed, and the plush cover is soft and cozy. It helped them rest, read, and stay upright without straining. Highly recommend for anyone needing extra support during recovery or just relaxing in bed.

Extremely Comfortable
This is a really nice Reading Pillow by Nestl. I bought two and both turned out great. I picked out the large size. It is very comfortable and supports your back well. My son loves his too. They arrived vacuum sealed, and we followed instructions and they turned out nice. One of the pockets on one of the Nestl Reading Pillows was not stitched fully closed, so I am giving it 4 stars.

Great back pillow
I like that it was firm, so you could successfully lean on it to be propped up. When it's too soft, it's more like a pillow. This back pillow is comfortable and does the job. I like the pockets for my items. I would recommend.

Too hard
Me and my partner both do not like this pillow. It’s uncomfortable and way too firm. You might as well be sitting against a rock. It’s also short and doesn’t provide very good back support. If you are short or a kid it might be ok but I’m 5’9” I missed the return window so now we have to keep it. It’s so stiff that when I tried using it on the couch it slid off to the side. Maybe it would work better on a cloth couch but I definitely don’t recommend this on a leather couch. Putting it at the head of the bed with a pillow for your neck was tolerable but not worth it. We will try removing stuffing to make it more comfortable. Hoping it doesn’t make it all lumpy.

great product for reading or watching TV
The secret to this reading pillow is the high quality shredded foam which allows the pillow to contour perfectly to the curvature of your spine while still providing firm support that doesn't sag after ten minutes. The pillows height is enough to support the neck and shoulders completely, eliminating the common "head-forward" slouch that leads to tension headaches. The armrests are robust and well positioned serving as anchors for your arms when holding a heavy book. It also has 3 pockets, a large one on the back and two smaller ones on the armrests.. The soft velvet-like material is removable and easy to zip off and on and is machine washable. There is a built-in handle on the top for easy moving of the pillow.

I took this week off from work for my "staycation" and in the absolute thrill of my life at 42 years of age, my highest goals were to read a lot, drink warm concoctions, and hang out with my cat. So I woke up on my first day of staycation at around 5AM or so (as one does when one does not do much in the evening and therefore is quite rested, you know, in this thrilling life that I lead). And so at 5AM I was like TOOT TOOT STAYCATION starts! Better get that reading on! And because it's a staycation, I'm like.... you know, I'm gonna really treat myself. I'm gonna read... IN BED. In the (wait for it) MORNING! Because you see I read in bed in the evening all the time to fall asleep, But to read in the morning? It feels like some kind of luxury, the likes of which this busy parent with a career and "passion projects" or "side hustles" or "other jobs that don't pay much" is totally unfamiliar. Reading in bed is like a total slap in the face at the machine that constantly reinforces a norm that requires us to "eat the frog" or "catch the worm." It says, "mmhmm, yes, I see you machine, and much like the family who won't tell grandma her cake is dry and tastes like crap, we've all been smiling and nodding like "YES WE LOVE FROGS AND WE LOVE WORMS" and I'm here to tell you, the hero of my own story, I never really liked them. I brazenly sit here, wholly unproductive in a world that begs me to produce. I'm going to lay here like a lump of flesh and blankets as I sip my warm beverage and read about Celtic Lore. And as I adjusted my tush, self-satisfied in my own restitude (get it....REST....ha) I created my reading perch. My reading perch has thus far consisted of a number of pillows. At least four because you need three in the back and one as a little bookshelf and even with four, which feels borderline excessive already, I find myself wishing for five. I see this pillow perch as a never-ending vortex where I will just be constantly wanting more and more and will spiral out of pillow control. I imagine one day some unfamilar person walking in telling me "OK lady, YOU'RE CUT OFF" naming the pillow compulsion that no one else had the heart to name and ending my suffering once and for all. But because today was staycation and I have all this time and all this time begets inspired creativity in new ways, I oh so creatively thought, how bout I get that reading pillow from my daughter's room. HEY! OK, so this is pretty great. And if you're wondering if this is the part where I get to the point of this review, I'm afraid we aren't there yet. I grabbed her reading pillow which I think she got at Target or something and was like "HEY NOW I GOTTA GET ME ONE OF THESE!" And because I live in a forest millions of miles away from a Target, it was Amazon here i come. I began to peruse reading pillows. And you know, here's the good and bad about this review culture we are in. My nine year old didn't read ten thousand reviews before she bought her reading pillow. She just saw it and wanted it and got it. Right? But do you think that was the same for me? Of course it wasn't. Because the moment I opened my freaking phone and started looking at reading pillows I went down the vortex that is review culture (no shame, I am obviously a member as well as a client) and instead of just picking one similar to my daughter's, I was lured by all the upgraded models. In the irony that is literally sitting on a pillow that is quite wonderful while at the same time desiring more, I explored versions that had book holders and cupholders. Forget supporting your back, there are versions that go all the way up past the crown of your head. NEVER will you need to hold your cranium independently, the scream, as I go deeper and deeper into desires I didn't even know I had. In the cart one would go. No this one. ACK! I can't choose. I was convinced that one of these fancy models was going to be my big splurge. STAYCATION!!! I screamed internally to myself as in my 20s I'd once scream SPRING BREAAAAAAK which was chant you would chant when you wanted to know you could do whatever you wanted because, you know, spring break. So STAYCATIONNNNN I declared as I moved my cart forward but as I reviewed the reviews more closey, I say things like "my 99 year old grandma loves this" and "after surgery when I couldn't move" and I paused and considered.... just how comfortable am I trying to be?! Not to mention how big this thing is going to be. I then imagined it's size, so big it would probably push me into a different time zone. Time go get up? Nope! We've got a whole 'nother hour over here! Pushing all bounds of space and time, I decided... no. This is too much. I had to put my phone down. It was all too much. I returned later, clearer of mind and purer of heart, and courageously went back into the fire that is online reading pillows for purchase. With this greater sight gained having been through the flames once before, I saw this Nestl Pillow. Did it have a cupholder? No. But you know, that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen anyhow. Does it hold my head up? It does not. But truth be told I've been holding my head up for 42 years an a number of months and you know what? I've got this. I've GOT THIS. And desipite lacking those features, people really seem to love it! And not just 99 year olds and those incapacitated after surgery. People who move at other times just like ME! So I went ahead, I made this purchase. And the long of the short of it is, it's really great! And I don't know what kind of foamy voodoo they have going on here, but for a pillow that is the exact configuration of my daughter's if freakish how much more supportive it is. And now, I really can't explain this part. I can't. It boggles my mind. The back support is somehow so incredible, SO SUPPORTIVE in all the right places, I don't even (WAIT FOR IT).... I don't even.... WANT OR NEED A HEADREST! I know. How do they do it? I really couldn't tell you. I don't make pillows. I don't make anything. Except for a mes this morning as I spilled my warm beverage on myself as I wrote this. I think you will like this pillow. If you don't, you can send yours to me.

A few people complain that its not filled out, but they must have written them prematurely. It arrives compact. You can speed up the expanding process by massaging and teasing apart the fibres through the fabric to increase the surface area exposed to the air that the foam fills with air, then pop into the dryer for several minutes to get some air flowing through it while it tumbles.

Pros: * stuffing can be shifted around inside the pillow to customize where you want the most support. * stuffing can be further customized by removing some of the stuffing or adding more. It's really well stuffed though so I'm not sure if it has much space to add more. But if you're looking for something less firm, then having the option to remove some of the stuffing is perfect. * cover is removable and washable * firm but not too firm - imagine "well padded chair" rather than "couch pillow" Cons: none that I've found! I opted to open up both the cover and the pillow to separate and fluff up the stuffing rather than shaking it. This worked wonderfully as it let me get deep into the stuffing to separate all of the clumps caused by the vacuum packing.
