Cheap
Cheap plastic and too small for a kitchen. Do not recommend.

Cute but broken after 4 months
Was searching for a compact yet higher off the ground trash can for our compost. This one looked great and fit in our space. Unfortunately, after 4 months of use, the lid broke in several places where the lid is suppose to attach. It’s not fixable so we are going to toss it. Such a bummer because the design was otherwise great (loved the little storage area for bags). Great design, cheap execution.

good idea, terrible, cheap execution, frankly.
The top won't open after ten days. The 2 torsion springs that lift the top went missing after ten days . One of the poles holding one of the springs broke somehow, I now need a knife point to open the can. Also, why would you have cute geometric "artwork" inside the top? it traps trash and I need a toothbrush to clean it. Top that with insulting customer service. See my question about the size of the missing torsion springs for replacement. I all wanted was a size, -a catalog number for ordering them myself would have done it.Instead, I got a lovely "Go to the Hardware store, Frankly" .well I had already gone to the hardware store and torsion springs are a specialty, not all hardware stores carry. `

Cute Trashcan with Issues
This is a very cute trashcan and affordable compared to trash cans with a similar aesthetic. I was looking for something like this on Amazon for a year and snapped it up the instant I saw it. (I got the two pack.) It looks great in my kitchen. The two main issues I have with it are that it's made out of a thin hard plastic (instead of the more durable thicker softer plastic that most trashcans are made out of today) and it's shipped in a box with zero additional padding so it showed up with minor damage to one corner of the base. I put tape on the cracks and placed it so that the damage is hidden from view so it's fine, but the complete lack of padding + hard plastic means that I was lucky the damage wasn't somewhere I couldn't hide.
