Had to explain to my granddaughter that the primary purposes of doilies were to protect nice wood furniture from being scratched by anything you put on top of the table/dresser, to hide an already scratched up or otherwise damaged table or dresser top, and to beautify the piece of furniture and the room. Seems pretty practical to me! These pieces do exactly what I need. Bought 3 - one for a long dresser and 2 small ones for nightstands. Arrived in excellent condition and were well represented in the pictures of them. They are exactly what I wanted - made of a good sturdy heavy cotton, no visible problems with the workmanship.Good choice of sizes. Didn’t notice any unpleasant odors, except they were new and came out of a plastic bag, so set them out on a table on our deck for a bit and let the fresh air get rid of the plastic bag smell. (I’m sure a bit of Fabreeze would basically do the same thing). We’ve had them for over a year now and are ordering another set in a slightly different pattern/sizes for other rooms and furniture pieces. Best to gently hand wash in cool water, as the doilies are likely to get wrapped around the agitator in a washer, which could stretch them out, misshape them, or put additional holes in them. Gently handwashing them is quite easy. I lay them out flat on a bath towel and let them air dry, then press (not drag the iron back and forth over them) gently a little with a steam iron if needed. The key to keeping them in excellent condition is “gently” when handling them, washing, pressing, etc.

This crochet table runner looks really nice on my entryway table. The lace-style crochet design is delicate and adds a vintage touch to the space. It arrived well packaged and folded neatly, so it was ready to use right away. The fabric is lightweight but feels sturdy enough that I don’t think it will fall apart easily. The size worked out well for my narrow console table (see my photos). It drapes a little on the sides, which gives it a softer look. The neutral shade is more off-white than beige, but it still blends nicely with my décor. One thing to note is that because it’s open crochet, it doesn’t completely cover the table surface — so if you want full coverage, this may not be the right choice. Also, this is not lace fabric; it’s more of a true crochet material. Overall, I’m very happy with it. It looks more expensive than it is and adds a charming touch to my home.

I did not want to replace my television stand and was buying a new television. We had bolted my old television down so the cats would not knock it over. This left holes that were in a different place then where the legs of my new television would go. My son bolted the new television down and I got this cloth to put over the old holes. They don't show and it looks very pretty. Saved me some money too. I am well satisfied. Not sure what I will do with the extra since it comes as a two pack, but I have some ideas.

The runners are lovely! Quality, heavy cotton crocheted lace. Nice ivory colour. Difficult item to find these days; happy to find such nice quality ones online. Prompt delivery of items despite coming from overseas.
