Priddy Books First Words: First Learning Play Sets

I ordered this play sets first, and noticed that the teddy bear is missing, I returned the item, requesting to send me a new one, I received a ''new one'' with again a missing teddy bear, so I believe I received the same item twice .. I returned again.

My baby loved it so much, excellent quality

I really like how there's a plastic lid part that keeps the pieces in. My toddler loves to pull this one from the shelf and put the pieces in himself. It keeps his attention which is rare.

This is well made. It features photographs of real objects which is good for infants to get a grasp of what real things look like while constructing their understanding of the world. A couple of the puzzle pieces are a bit too tricky for the intended age group - the tomato and the ball, due to their shape, are a little too challenging I think. They have to be placed in exactly the right orientation which is a very subtle differentiation for such a small child. Otherwise I do like the size, sturdiness and the pieces seem to stand up well to being chewed on by teething babies.

Already have the numbers one and my 17 month old daughter loves it so thought I’d get her this one too. She’s very entertained by it and although she can already say most of the words it reinforces that learning and encourages other skills (problem solving, fine motor skills etc)Very happy with my purchase!

Good for learning words

Nice little product. However, that plastic wallet to keep puzzle pieces in is both sharp and impossible for a baby to open by themselves.
