I am not a music expert, but the do re mi etc. sound the way they are supposed to. I can play joyful joyful like I do on the piano, and it sounds accurate.

Q: This is not a xylophone. It has metal bars therefor it is a glockenspiel. Xylophones have wood bars on a box base. Why do you call it a xylophone?

Yes, this is more like a glockenspiel, as it has thinner metal bars (resulting in a bell-like timbre) than the thicker-barred metallophone (resembling a timbre closer to a chime). Xylophones do indeed have wooden bars which sit on a base called a resonator box, as do the bars for metallophones and glockenspiels.
