Well made 100% thick cotton rugby shorts with pockets. Inseam is not long but it is authentic. Fit is accurate although they may stretch with repeated wear. Soft enough to allow wear as one would wear a kilt. Pockets are deep and useful they hold phones safely walking or lifting weights. Use these as everyday and gym wear. The fabric accepts dye well allowing for some really nice colors.

Tough, soften up with washing. Usable pockets. Long enough legs so that men can wear them as bathing suits without a liner. Good emergency shorts for traveling, wearing while doing laundry. Slowly fade to charcoal after several hundred washings. Very elastic waistband, so go a little large if leg length matters to you, they’ll still fit. All cotton. Feels good in hot weather. Will pass as underwear and wash in a sink if necessary. Good to have.

**My review of these shorts are as shorts to deadlift or squat in, not to play rugby in**These shorts are clearly really high quality and tough enough to stand up to the wear and tear of rugby and the seams are STRONG. While this is great for rugby, it makes it difficult for wider-stanced squatters to get depth without hiking the legs up high. The pockets are also super deep, which again is convenient in many places, but not for deadlifting IF you keep an iPod/iPhone in your pocket when you pull.The shorts are obviously high quality and are really comfortable. 4/5 only because of my specific use of them.

These rock. I bought my first pair about a month ago and have been wearing them every day since.They are comfortable, particularly for the summer. They are short enough to not cover too much of your leg, the sturdiness of the cloth helps them stay off your legs to give more breathing room, they cotton itself is a breathable cool material, and there's plenty of space in the crotch area for good airflow. These are the ideal summer shorts. They also look good. I have black and white. The white pair is thick enough so that the color of my boxers does not come through much, unlike most white shorts.They are STURDY. The elastic holds up very well so I can put heavy things in my pockets and they won't slide down even if the string is not tied. The pockets are a good size as well.I'm 6'6" with 36" waist and went with XL for my first pair, but then XXL for my second pair, which was a better choice. XL works fine too but is just slightly tighter. The XXL fit me perfectly and also were slightly longer so they do a better job of covering my boxers.The only con I can think of is that the orientation of the pockets causes my phone and/or wallet to slide out of the pocket almost every time I sit down.

I needed rugby shorts for the game. I ordered them on Monday and they arrived before the game. They fit Great and were durable throughout the game. I might buy another pair. Thank you!
