I was skeptical about these working because I had tried so many others and they didn’t work. But lo and behold these worked like a charm. I only needed to use two to extend a hose I already had. Wish I had seen these before buying the other ones.

This worked OK. I would agree the plastic is relatively thin and cheap but it does do the job. My warning/complaint is that the adapter is very narrow at each end and the hole itself is slightly closed off. I have a 1.5" hose I'm adapting and this fitting severely restricts the water flow as a result. I ended up using a hack saw to cut off the narrower adapters I wasn't using and it greatly improved the waterflow.

Worked out well for connecting several vac hoses.
