Great bags for the money
Bought these to help store the extra ice from our portable ice maker. These are the perfect thickness and the drawstring has so far proven to hold up to wear and tear for various handlers. When the ice cubes come out of the ice maker they tend to be a little "soft". I have found that if I can bag them & get them in the large freezer they will freeze very hard in a short time and keep forever. No strange odors from the plastic. Altogether a great value for the money. I will definitely buy more when I need them.

Perfect for storing ice and keeping it fresh
These are great for storing ice and keeping it fresh. In an effort to protect my ice from the freezer air I tried using a covered Tupperware container. That was awkward to handle in and out of the freezer and ultimately shattered when it got dropped while frozen. We lay our ice bags flat in the freezer and small holes developed from sliding it in and out. That was solved by double bagging the ice bags and we haven't needed to change the bags since and have been using the same bags for a few months now. Double bagged these also hold up to wacking your ice on the counter or floor to loosen it up quickly.

Horrible quality!!
Would not recommend these bags. Straight out of the box the first 2 bags had holes in them. The next 2 bags ripped down the side as I was filling it with ice and the 5th bag ripped down the side when carrying it. Lost almost 20 pounds of ice between all of the defective bags. Horrible quality!

Quick delivery and great service. I use a double bag as suggested by other posters and have had no rips or tears at all, even though I use them over and over again and drop on concrete floor to break the cubes before putting in the freezer bin. I regret having waited so long to purchase! Way better than freezer storage bags.

These are the best. They are just the size I wanted and they are very strong, and the tie on then works wonderful. Quick delivery and I highly recommend them. Thank you so much.

The bag looks good, feels good
The bag looks good, feels good. The problem is if you freeze the ice after filling bag as I do seeing I bag it straight from the ice maker, don't try bumping it on something to break it up after taking it out. I've done so with 5 or 6 bags & almost each bag busted & ice wasted. I do have some of these bags of the same brand without the draw string & they are much better.

Just like buying from the store
These ice bags are great! We got tired of buying ice at the grocery store. We had an extra refrigerator in the garage that made ice and it wasn't being used. So we bought these bags and bag our own ice and keep it in the freezer. Plus, it's a great bartering item if you ever need it if you are being prepared for a weather emergency.
