Usual great Fluval product
Excellent just what you expect from Fluval. Outside packing was damaged but item was fine.

Easy fit
This was easy to fit, as a replacement to the original one in my FX4. The original was failing (or so I though). However. After fitting the new one. The flow was still poor. It turns out, that for the 2 years that my FX4 has been running with my 350ltr tank. Whilst having a media wash every 3 months. I had been inadvertently missing out cleaning the one in the middle of the lower basket. And it had restricted the flow. So I now have a spare impeller for when the new one wears. My training is now complete!

revived a failing FX4
I didn't realise you had to replace the impeller on the Fluval FX4 every 12 months so mine has been running for over 3 years with the same unit however it started to slow down so i bought this kit and replaced the impeller also worth knowing mine came with impeller ceramic shaft and seals also worth mentioning you need some silicone grease its a must now ater 20 mins of running its back up to being a fully working filetr again i would buy from this seller every time i have also bought a spare for next time it runs out as the prices of everything is going up

Good overall check seals are correct
Good as you would expect would of gave 5 star review but unfortunately couple of the seals were wrong size

Pricey but worthwhile
New impeller helped reduce noise New gaskets for peace of mind Could be cheaper for what you get but I use this every year for preventative purposes.

Decent replacement impeller
Realised my filter had been running for 4 years and had started to stutter. That is the impeller seemed to knock and rattle for a second regularly. Replacement ordered and arrived quickly to resolve the issue. Also good to have various different rubber rings to make sure the seals are water tight.

Expensive for what I required , thanks FLUVAL
Battered box delivered in a paper bag but contents appear to be fine. Unsure how or why as impeller was loose inside. Only required the FX4 impeller rod but this kit was cheaper than a new impeller and Fluval does not supply a replacement rod. CRAFTY.

Nice kit to bring your filter back to life.

Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a new canister filter I was able to fix the replacement parts. Comes with instructions and is easy to install. Would definitely recommend
