Ruidi Interchangeable Aluminum Circular Knitting Needles Set - 13 Pairs of 4 ...

I was so excited to get these needles! My first project on them was a winter beanie. They had a small problem of coming undone in the middle of knitting, but I think that was my problem and not an issue with sturdiness. I love that there are several lengths of cable to choose from. The yarn slips easily on the needles, which probably would be a problem for a beginner, but I found it a joy. I like that they are different colors to easily pick out the size I need.

I've read the other reviews, primarily the one star reviews. I've had these needles for 6 months and have knitted 3 sweaters, an afghan and 2 stuffed animals with them. They did take some getting used to and you have to make sure to use the "key" to tighten the cord to the needle well. The markers are cheap and break easily, but I have alot of other markers. The case is handy and I've always got a variety of sizes with me. Maybe I'm lucky as I haven't experienced the problems so many others have complained about. For the price I think they're well worth it.

I absolutely love these! I’ve taught myself how to knit about 3 weeks ago and had wanted circular needles for a while. I love all of the materials it comes with and it’s helpful to make it longer for bigger projects like sweaters! I’ve noticed because the cables ends are angled slightly it’ll unscrew as I work so you just gotta rescrew it every couple rows, for me it’s not much of a hassle since I already tend to stop and look at my projects every couple rows anyways. I really like them for a beginner and for the money I’d say it’s worth it!

The value for money is fair, although I find the quality is mediocre. My issues with it are as follows: the stitch markers that are included are the snap close ones (which is what is pictured) but I don’t prefer those for knitting, although they are great for crochet. The connections between the needle and the line is easy to assemble and there are several configurations for needle size and cord length, but I find that the needles are constantly unscrewing from the cord as I am knitting. This causes the work to get stuck and fills me with fear that the needle will just come off and I will lose a bunch of stitches, so I am constantly re-screwing it on as I work. The needles themselves are fine and comparable to most medal needles, which is mostly what I work with. The case is nice and compact although I find that the slots for some of the needle points are not at all snug enough to keep them from sliding when the case is open, so they slip out if positioned on an angle at all. I have been knitting with this set for about a month on a lace shawl and these are my biggest findings.

Perfect idea for those of us knitting smaller round scarves or socks. May be a little difficult to screw in at times.

I’ve spent the last five months testing these, and I’m disappointed. The cables have come undone from the metal piece. Yes, I used the cable key to secure them, but that’s not the area the cables have come undone. It is the cable that is attached to the area in which you secure the needle. I’ve had to use pliers to attempt to keep them in place, but they continue to fall apart. Stitches slip off the cable before I even have a chance to notice what went wrong. It has happened when I connected two cables together as well (didn’t have the length needed for a sweater body). I really thought these were going to be good quality, but they’re unable to last five months. They’re simply not worth spending the money on.

I got this as a crocheter trying to pick up knitting. It seems to include everything that is needed including interchangeable, circular needles and different sizes of needles. They are all labeled nicely but I'm not so sure how long the labels will keep up, but luckily they have some sizing guides included. I like that everything is interchangeable and there is multiple colors for the needles. They appear to be a good quality and a nice weight. I can't wait to get started on my first project!!

En realidad me sorprendieron, cumplen su función perfectamente, el cable no se enreda, vienen varios tamaños, si quieres agrandar el cable solo hay que apretar bien el tornillo de conexión. Y no se zafa, y lo mejor el precio, súper bien, tal vez algo que no me gustó mucho es que pinchan un poco,pero muy recomendables.

I was alittle skeptic about purchasing these as a lot of people said they come apart or loosen as you use them. Yes they did at first but if you tighten them good there shouldn’t be an issue unless defective. They are great and save a lot of money when not having to purchase individually.

I have used these needles to knit a sweater and absolutely love them. They are metal with a nice point, but not very slippery which helped keep my stitches from slipping off. Of all the needles I have, both bamboo and stainless steel, i prefer these.

I bought the set, but cable to short, where to buy longer cable please recommend

Absolutely worth for the money. Best investment for beginner knitters . Yes this set came with the small knitting cords but with the help of connecter u can combaind 2 or 3 cords u can make a bigger cord. No need to search or buy for bigger cords for bigger projects. Needles are soo smooth to work and end project came out very nice and beautiful every time I use these needles. I recommend others to buys these needles. Thanks RUIDI for this set and thanks Amezon for selling this kit.
