I don't believe so. It is electric and will light up the whole room.

How many feet will it light up? Planning to use it for outside sports during the night.

It's a good work light inside my 2600 sq ft barn. Probably not so good for stadium or field lighting. Don't let the lumens be confused with floodlight power. 12.57 lumens equals one candle power. These lights put out about 250 candle power, not enough for a sport sized field unless you plan to use several.

Are the lights removable and can they be used off tripod?

Yes, both light heads can be removable off from the tripod, but they're connected to the same wire.

This is an LED sealed fixture. There are NO bulbs to change. I’ve had 3 of these on Constrution sites for 6 months now, absolutely astonishing. Be prepared to point them away from you as you work. They’re so bright, it can be disturbing if it’s in your face.
