Brilliant for ‘feeling’ catch & pull and so improving stroke technique

It's a little awkward to use at first, but helps to improve your pull a lot. They designed this device to strengthen specific muscle groups depending on the stroke you use, so it's really good for intensive workouts, because it gives specific resistance while you train any of the four styles. Quality materials prevent excessive scratches and being black and yellow people thinks you use different paddles till you explain how they work, and then they want to try them!!!

I bought these training paddles because I like the idea a pair of conveniently sized training paddles to add resistance to my swim work out. I thought the notion that because of the change in the way the water dynamics develop depending on which paddle you put on the left and which on the right was interesting; but I wasn't really expecting the difference to be significant. However, it turns out that if I do the work out one way my arms feel more worked on the outside, and more sore the next day, on the outside. If I reverse the paddles for another workout, I then feel the work out more on the inside of my arms. So I do 30" one way and 30" the other way and feel I've had a real good workout for both the inside and outside muscles of my arm. Pretty cool. I happily endorse this product.

At first I thought OMG these are way too big. I measured by their scale. When I went to use them, they were odd feeling. But another swimmer, showed me these can be used in different patterns, IE: Thumb, Pointer, Ring, forward and backwards. These are 3 units rolled into 1. So in the end they worked great, my strokes felt stronger, used all my muscles. Very happy, would recommend for old and new swimmers wanting to increase their muscles and speed.
