25LB Fast Acting Lime

I used this to help de-acidify the soil in my lawn that had been abused by my pine tree for years. Pine trees exude malic acid and citric acid through their roots, which they do to break down rocky soil and create their own, pine-tree-hospitable, microbiome. My soil pH was sitting at 3.5, and since applying this, my lawn has been much healthier and full. This like was easy to spread and was effective at raising my soil pH. The price and quality are on par with what you’d find at a garden center.

It fast acting all right. My compost pile had stalled most of winter as I didn't have enough green matter in it to 'cook' (too many brown oak leaves apparently - almost all of it actually - with just a little kitchen compost bin contents occasionally mixed in. So... after 4 months with no action I got this stuff and spread 3-4cups throughout, and within one month now it's pretty much broken down and will be dirt in another month or so I expect. (my compost bun is approx 40-50 cubic feet, and full to the top - was a foot overloaded but now shrinking every day :).

This lime product works great and did start showing results within a few days. Before you use any type of product, you should get a soil analyzer and test your soil. You’ll be money ahead instead of just guessing. I’ve used lime in the past from different manufacturers but it always seemed to leach out over a short period of time. This blend has lasted the longest. I’ve had to put down two applications to get my ph where it needed to be but seems to be holding steady now. I also use less fertilizer with my ph at the correct level. I won’t use any other lime product other than this one.

I spread this heavy on the yard under/ close proximity to my oak trees B4 spring rains and the grass pops right up.

This corrects my soil pH in days. Plants with yellow leaves become greener and more vibrant.

Very fast acting. Balanced soil pH and stopped moss from growing back.

My lawn can never have too much lime. I buy this consistently. Great product
