These are my new favorite thing, I am normally a tech guy but I love to cook and these cut wonderful and they look nice too. You have to know how to use them. No hard chopping, really they are so sharp you don't have too.

Work well and fairly sharp, have held up well with regular use. I would buy them again .Good product for the price, good value.

When I opened my package, I was shocked to find that the magnetic closure had come undone and the knives were floating loose in the Amazon box. Luckily, the sheaths were on and there did not seem to be any visual damage to the knives. This issue was probably due to the lack of packaging material used, but it would be better if the item's magnetic gift box had a cardboard belly band to prevent accidental opening. The gift box also had significant scuff marks and looked preowned. It wasn't a gift so not a major problem for me, but it did not look gift worthy. The knives themselves look very sleek and sexy - definitely the best looking knives I have ever owned. Love the black. I don't like obnoxious branding/logos and the Acutus branding is quite tasteful and discreet. The handles are comfortable to grip but the blades do not seem super sharp like some of the other reviews have stated. Chopping raw potatoes definitely did not feel like cutting through butter. I have to apply the same amount of force if not more than my old, unsharpened stainless steel knife. I now mainly use these knives for herbs/vegetables like cilantro/peppers and switch to my steel blade for denser food items. For this purpose they are okay so it's not worth the hassle of returning.

These are GREAT! One large knife suitable for carving up meats and one smaller knife for vegetables. Very sharp, sturdy, attractive, and functional. Never get dull and allow for easy cutting through most items (crunch veggies, meats, etc.). Highly recommend!
