Durable & Fun
This is my first RC plane, I bought for me and my 7 year brother. At first it's a little tricky to get the hang of but after a few minutes you can learn to keep the orintation of the aircraft/controls. I crashed it quite a few times into trees a roof once or twice, hard landing on the nose cone on asphault that took a little chunk of the foam out. Somehow the wing got a crack in it that I was able to repair with superglue and some scotch tape... still flys great. I did have to reglue the front weight at the bottom of the nose cone that got knock out due to a hard landing. But overall I would say this is a durable flyer, the props are the originals (comes with two spares) and it still flys great. It's kind of hard for my 7 year old brother to fly it, but he still has some good flights.I would recommend this to any first time flyers.Tips: stay out of the wind [edit] wait for a nice still day or evening... Don't fly it over asphault or near structures when first learning, try to stick to grassy areas if possible.UPDATE: After many flights the winds took this away into the woods and it went missing. Probably should only be flown in low winds.

Call this an instant Nose-dive.
I thought..."Hey! 50 buck for an RC plane! Good deal!" I bought it and waited the short two days for that speedy juicy prime delivery...that's never getting old. Anyhow, I built the darned thing and I went to the field near me to fly it. Easy, I thought. I can fly a good range of things. This shouldn't be hard. It looks sleek, modern, etc.... Throttle it up and threw it. It face planted, and face planted, and face planted. Soon the motors gave out.Bottom line. Do you want tears for your children? Do you want to question the recent advances in flight technology? Are you ready for frustration, annoyance, and overall indisposition. Then this is the product for you. Whoever decides to sell this should probably know their plane doesn't fly, and probably write it up in the product description. This has been a Wholovesamonkey report... signing off.

Okay
Very fun! Battery last a long while. Material will crack by the body-wing area after a few landings. Easy to fix: glue or duct tape. Could be a bit cheaper but ok for beginners.Amazon replaced for an identical item. Very amazing service Amazon!

This was to replace...
Another beginners plane. Nearly indestructible! My husband loves it and has already flown it more than the one from 4 year ago. Well built and light weight. The control is very different from most of them. Took a little time to get used to it. Turning is different because you have 2 propellers ad one declines and the causes the other to pull the plane i the direction you want. WE like it very much. For more information read the full description on the page. It explains it well. I have nothing else to add.

Could be fun...I guess
Bought this for my son as a birthday gift. Super easy to assemble. Took less than 10 minutes. Transmitter is big and feels decent with a basic setup and box design. Plastic tab for the battery compartment snapped off first time trying to pull it down. No biggie. Not necessary. Took it out to the park and I threw it once with it quickly just being over controlled by a super light breeze and crashed. Less than 5 seconds flight time. Gave it to my son, and he tried twice without it having more than 5 seconds of flight time. Third attempt, it crashed and broke in two. Now, I'm not complaining...It's made of foam and it is prone to the negative effects of gravity so I assumed this would happen, just would have preferred to actually see my son fly it for a little bit first. I'll attempt to repair it and reinforce it somehow hopefully without messing with the weight too much. So...yeah...hey it looks cool though.
