Universal Air Conditioner KT 4403 A/C Compressor and Component Kit

Works great on my 2008 Trailblazer

Product worked great and everything for that application came with it!

Nice cold air and easy to intall

Kit was in new condition everything fit - only issues is when I called the manufacturer to review amount of oil necessary information included with the packaging was incorrect. Buyer needs to double check with manufacturer on exact amount of oil required - its determines / associated with the model / make and size of your AC system. Assembled everything with no leaks and lots of remaining o rings as I used the metal washers with attached rubber gaskets.

Worked for a few months and already has a issue now I have no ac and ill have to fork out the money and time to fox this that i just dont have.

Definitely worth it to do this job yourself. It took me a few hours to get done, and it seemed really daunting, but my compressor locked up and I’m a roof salesman in the middle of Texas in the summer. So I didn’t have an option, I had to have my vehicle and all the surrounding mechanics were at least a week out on work. My suggestion is rent a recovery tank and vacuum from your local auto parts store and take care of business. You can buy the gauge set cheap on here like I did. So totally worth it!! And there are plenty of YouTube videos that tell you exactly what to do. Also for trailblazer owners, short wheel base is the single ac, ext is the dual ac which requires twice the amount of refrigerant.

I am constantly amazed at some of the prices from Amazon for these parts meaning they are low. I Kind of feel Bad for my local parts stores ,they cant compete! Compressor did not come with a manifold stud- had cut the stud out of the old unit, I know the one with the stud is available I should have looked closer may be. Other than that I installed in working as advertised. Great selection of O rings they are hard to get locally.
