Is it the case that once we find the hidden box it’s not fun to play the game again because we know how to get to it?

I have bought both, they are both reasonable puzzles that don't over tax you. This is probably slightly more tricky, providing you remember the cat puzzle has you translating German at one point....

Can u put a gift inside before it's used ?

You have to do the puzzle first to get to the middle and there is only a small space to put anything. Not all can take a gift as it will interfere with making the box back up. I would personally suggest that you look at the others that are constructed to hold a gift, with more space and more choice. They are just as intriguing as the boxes, but you do have to open them up before you put the gift in, then you have to put it back together again. Just like the recipient has to. Good Luck.

How much space is inside the box?

I bought this particular box as a gift so I’m not certain on how much space is inside it, but I did the Shrödinger’s cat box by the same manufacturer, which is about the same size on the outside, and there is only a very small space inside - I can just about get 2 fingers into the space and I have fairly small hands.
