Works with Menards xtreme brand
If you have an 8' tall garage door and want to install a garage door opener you may need an extension. Most standard door openers are made to open 7' tall (standard) garage doors. Many newer homes are now coming with 8' tall garage doors. 8' garage openings are very nice for SUV's and Pickup trucks giving them more height clearance. I bough this extension to use with the garage door opener I bought at the local Menards store before I went to Florida for the winter. It is their private brand xtreme. This extension worked great. I had one question and called the Decko help line. 877-436-4402 and to my surprise someone that spoke "American English" answered the phone!! Helped me in a minute. Told me he was in Minnesota? Customer service in the center of the USA? Wow!
