Cyberpunk 2077 - PlayStation 4

Got to be honest, given the negative reviews both of the game on launch and what I've read on here, I have been putting off trying this, especially on a standard PS4 - what hasn't helped has been a LOT of wholly negative reviews how the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 available isn't upgradable. Well, I purchased this M rated version here in 2025 and the disk(s) bought appear to eligable: bought from Amazon Warehouse, reasonably priced - even if it turns out the sticker is telling lies, its still a hell of a lot of game for the price paid. Obviously this doesn't mean my PS4 version is magically going to play the 2.0+ version of the game or any of the current DLC and this isn't going to play as sweetly or as fully as the PS5 version on a PS5 Pro or anything like that. But - and since I cannot lie about my buts - as I say, for the money spent it's still a LOT of game and this particular package comes with stickers, postcards, game map, world compendium and digital content access, etc. Sometimes you just have to take a punt and try. Happy with my purchase, if it works - it does and even if I'm just stuck with the version 1.0 P24 version (or whatever) - its still a LOT of game. And thats what we're here for.

Enjoyed playing this, not just shoot them up also use your brain

Fun game however you can’t get the free ps5 upgrade with this if you’re in the Uk. This isn’t a problem to those who still have a ps4

This Game is an alright game, I can't say it was the best thing in the world, at the start of playing the game it was a tiny bit confusing and I had to get used of the control, the driving on this game is very poor however the guns etc where really good.

Shipment was quick but that was the only positive, the case arrived cracked but luckily the discs were intact, I installed the game and played it with bugs included, looked everywhere even consulting the interned as to how you can upgrade the game to the latest patch and PS5 edition only to discover that I have been sold a US copy of the game, meaning no updates had been available since late 2022, patch 2.0 has just came out but I will now need to purchase either the digital edition or risk buying a new disc, very disappointed by this purchase.

The game did not update to the ps5 version so couldn’t get any updates

Bought this product as it had a free PS5 upgrade, however this game is region locked. Unfortunately it doesn’t not state this in the description and I have received an American game when I’m from Europe so the upgrade is unavailable. Very disappointed as now I won’t play the game due to it being the ps4 version

This is not a review of the game, just a warning to not buy this if you are from the UK and want to take advantage of the free ps5 upgrade, it won't work You need a PEGI 18 copy, not a esrb This should not be purchasable on Amazon.co.uk

Wersja USA, nie da się zrobić upgrade do PS5. Przy dostarczeni poczta polska pobiera dodatkową opłatę za przesyłkę... Zwrot do USA... koszty przesyłek i fatyga to placówki sprawiają że nie ma sensu tego nawet zwracać. Sam produkt działający, szkoda że brak dodatkowych informacji, Amazon oczywiście umywa rączki, sprzedawca zewnętrzny...

Cyberpunk 2077 is the Best game I’ve ever played until now. It is yes, buggy. And needs some polishing but....it has a beautiful world and a amazing story. The gameplay is perfectly thought and the RPG elements are clearly all over and always making you want to go further into the game. The side missions are also always brilliant and fun. I do recommend yes...if you play it in a base ps4 to play it with a open mind...the bugs are disappearing slowly with every update. So if you want to wait. Please do, but this game is a must-play. I play it in ps4 pro and for me it runs almost perfectly except for some crashes every now and then. But other than that it plays as perfect as I hoped it would play. The game is everything CDProjekt Red promised. Please give it a try. And if you don’t believe me. Then wait until it’s cheaper and see it for yourself. P.S. Even though this is the American version of you play it in a Japanese account it will censor all the Gore and Nudity. But there’ll be no Japanese language support tough. I’m an Aussie with an Aussie Playstation, living in NZ. Ordered this game under the impression it was going to be the Aussie region Cyberpunk and was sorely disappointed when it turned out to be the US version. Because of this I was unable to upgrade to the latest version of the game. Delivery (and pick up) was on point as usual. 2 star rating is not for the game, but because it’s disappointing Amazon would stock and sell this game for the wrong region to unsuspecting customers. DO NOT BUY IF YOU’RE IN AUSTRALIA OR NEW ZEALAND.
