WHAT A CHAMP! (better than my home oven!)
Great for camping! Buy it - you will NOT regret your purchase. I watched reviews of the Coleman Camp Oven on YouTube and decided to buy one - and I thought that if it did not live up to the raving reviews that YouTubers had given it, then at least I wouldn't have burned (pardon the pun) a lot of money because it is rather well priced. Amazon, as often is the case, delivered before scheduled time and I was so super excited to try the oven that I could not wait for the next camping trip and simply made it stand and put it on the gas cooker at home. Words cannot describe how IMPRESSED I was. I was truly mesmerized by this, rather rudimentary little box. Subsequently I have used it over and over again on our camping trips - made roast chicken, golden brown potatoes, and even fresh home-made bread (that comes in most handy when camping in the middle of nowhere for 10 days). I have even bought one for a fellow camper as a gift. You will not be disappointed - hit the "buy now" button.

Sure, it looks like a collapsible tin box, but this thing really works. I couldn't afford a portable propane oven, and they all came with stoves. I have stoves. But friends and family were amazed when it turned out perfect corn bread at camping. So was I. I read many reviews on this oven and picked up a couple $3.00 oven bricks for the bottom to regulate heat. Worked perfect. The next night I made an apple pie.(cheated with frozen crust, but hey, I am camping). The wind was picking up, and the heat was hard to regulate, so we moved it inside to the trailer and put it on the large burner. It was propane too. The heat was easy around 275* as is usually 350*in electric oven. But the pie came out perfect. Apples cooked through and crust browned just right. The next night I did root veg. They took longer, but turned out great. I put them in 2 small bread pans, and turned several times. I am so delighted with this low tech, light weight, compact, inexpensive, option, for baking while camping, that I can't wait for next year. But hey, it's a Coleman. I have seen that name on camp stuff for decades, since I was a kid. Almost 60 years. Bet you have too.
